This is a 40week accredited training course:
๐๐ป๐๐ฟ๐ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐พ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐- You must have 2 years post qualification experience in a Core Profession having obtained a Level 5 Diploma or Foundation Degree in a related field (Counselling, Psychotherapy, etc.) or be an accredited Mental Health practitioner.

๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐- A mix of practical and tutorial elements where you learn essential skills and theories in CBT. The course is designed to follow the recognised framework of common therapeutic and CBT specific competencies (Roth and Pilling, 2008). You will learn essential contemporary, evidence based, techniques to treat a range of psychological problems such as, Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, etc.
You will explore the 'third wave' of CBT including Mindfulness based approaches.
The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) recommends CBT as an option for treatment of a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and bulimia nervosa. CBT can also be used in sleeping disorders, to cope with a range of physical health problems such as pain and fatigue, as well as for phobias, substance misuse disorders (including smoking cessation), and functional disorders/ medically unexplained symptoms.
