🌲 What a brilliant day out at Lud’s Church & The Roaches! 🥾

Today I had the pleasure of guiding an absolutely fantastic group through some of the Peak District’s most magical landscapes — and what made it even better was seeing so many families out enjoying nature together.

This was a family-friendly walk, packed with fresh air, adventure, smiles, muddy boots, and meaningful moments in the outdoors. Days like this remind me exactly why we do what we do. Connecting people, improving wellbeing, and creating memories in wild places.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us — you were amazing 🙌

This Saturday 10th Jan, we’re heading into the Lake District to take on Blencathra (868m / 2847ft) – a classic hike with big views, good company, and the chance to reset in the mountains.

We’re excited to announce the launch of Primal Explorers, a brand new rambling & hiking community based in Liverpool & Merseyside, led by a qualified mountain guide.

Our aim is simple:
👉 build a supportive hiking community
👉 get more people into the outdoors
👉 take on epic walks and challenges together

🚐 Transport included
We’ve got a 9-seater minibus, making it easy to get out and explore without the stress of travel.

• Snowdonia

Attention All 🤙

It's nealy 2026 and I will be staring ye year strong and bring back all the hiking and scrambling days...

The big one for 2026 is going to be the Start of the Walking the Wainwright's (214 mountains in the lake district) this is a big challenge to do and it takes a lot of time so if anyone is interested in doing this and giving your self a new challenge for the new year let me know as I will be creating a group, walks will be every 2 weeks.

🎣 Primal Anglers: 5 week Winter Carp Academy 🎣

This winter, we’re heading indoors for a series of advanced learning sessions designed for anglers who live and breathe carp fishing.

Each week we’ll go deep into the finer details that separate good anglers from great ones. Expect focused sessions on:

🎯 Tactical approaches for pressured waters
🪶 Advanced rigs and presentation theory
🧠 Reading conditions – weather, water temps & fish behaviour
🧩 Bait profiles, attraction layers & feeding responses
📈 Session planning, prep, and refinement
📹 Underwater footage analysis – breaking down real carp behaviour at the rig and bait level

These sessions aren’t for beginners – they’re for anglers who already know their craft and want to keep their head in the game through the winter months.

🎃 Halloween Fishing Fun! 🎣

What a fantastic Halloween event we had! Despite the spooky weather, everyone showed up in amazing costumes — from monsters to mummies — and brought their best energy! The kids did an incredible job, with plenty of laughs, fun, and new friendships made along the way.

We even managed to catch a few fish, with Archie landing a lovely common carp and achieving a new personal best! 🐟👏

A huge well done to all the kids for making it such a brilliant day — rain, mud, and all! 🌧️👻

Very Proud Of Our Ameila Rose 🌹

Amelia headed straight down to the lake after school and landed this awesome common carp and we think the smile says it all. At only 8 years old it's amazing to see such passion for fishing and moments like these are memories the younger generation will cherish for years to come.
