Tomorrow we will be exploring all things anxiety. This course is completely free and anyone is welcome, please feel free to spread the word and pass this on to anyone who might need our help.

We are delighted to be re-introducing our flagship mental health education program FundaMENTALLY Healthy!

This course is based around seven sessions, delivered over seven weeks, with the aim of improving fundamental understandings of mental health and equipping people with the right tools and confidence to make positive change for themselves and their communities.

You will have the opportunity to learn more about mental health, anxiety, confidence and self-esteem, positivity, stress, goal setting, and community.

And we have found that by focusing on these topics, we can increase feelings of self-respect and self-worth, whilst improving communication skills, emotional balance, autonomy, and control.

All delivered in a laid back, workshop style with plenty of opportunities to ask questions, share stories, learn more about mental health with a brew and some likeminded citizens.

There is no commitment to complete all seven sessions or to even do them in order. It’s a rolling program which means you can jump on and off as needed pick up again when life allows or to focus on a particular aspect of the course.

It’s completely FREE and all you have to do is come along on the day. If you do need any extra support to attend, please just let us know, we are happy to help!

We are very proud to be delivering this program in collaboration with who do incredible work in the local community and who are very kindly hosting us at their venue.

Huge thanks to our partners for funding this under their Healthy Neighbour initiative.

Find us every Tuesday between 10-12 at My Clubmoor, Norris Green Youth Centre, Townsend Youth Centre, L11 5AF.

Any questions please just send us a message!

This is starting tomorrow! Everybody welcome and it would be great to see you at My Clubmoor at 12:30!

This is starting tomorrow! Everybody welcome and it would be great to see you at My Clubmoor at 12:30!

We asked the people who attend our sessions what they would like to see on our timetable and this is what they said!

From Tuesday 4th November we will be running a guitar and music group for all ages and abilities.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve never played before, always wanted to or just fancy having a go, everybody is welcome!

It would be great to have some experienced players join us who could pass on some knowledge so please get in touch if that sounds like you.

Guitars are provided and these sessions are completely free.
The idea is just to get a few likeminded folks together and see if we can make some music, learn from each other and do something positive for our collective mental health and wellbeing.

We are very proud to be delivering this program in collaboration with My Clubmoor who do incredible work in the local community and who are very kindly hosting us at their venue.

Huge thanks to our partners Torus Foundation for funding this under their Healthy Neighbour initiative.

Starting on Tuesday 4th November you can find us every Tuesday between 12:30-13:30 at My Clubmoor, Norris Green Youth Centre, Townsend Youth Centre, L11 5AF.

As community champions, it’s our role to keep our communities informed, empowered and protected.

Vaccinations aren’t just personal protection, they’re a powerful way to protect the people around us too.

From childhood immunisations to flu jabs and boosters, knowing when to get them matters just as much as knowing why. ❤️💉

Are you thinking about Stoptober?

Stoptober is a public health campaign that runs annually in the UK, encouraging smokers to quit for 28 days in October, based on the research that this makes them five times more likely to quit for good.

At FPP, we aim to build and uplift happy, healthy communities and part of this strategy includes responding to tobacco related harm.

Smoking is significantly associated with mental health conditions, and people with mental health issues are more likely to smoke and find it harder to quit.

That’s where we come in!

If you’re thinking about taking part in Stoptober 2025 then we can offer you:

A FREE vape and liquids that would usually cost £49.99

6 weeks of support, encouragement and advice and ideas around quitting for good.

We can keep an eye on your C02 levels and blood pressure readings with
regular checks.

A further 6 weeks of liquids and support if needed.

As with all aspects of our service, this is free, with no waiting list
and everyone is welcome to sign up and get involved.

For more info, any questions or to get started just drop us a message here or email Tom@firstpersonprojectcic.co.uk
