Honouring the rhythms of the season.

As we head into the depths of winter we want to remind you that this is a shift in seasons, and our own personal season.

We naturally want to slow down, get present, go deeper. Our hibernation tendencies will come forward, wanting to sleep longer and eat more.

When the world around us can feel like it's turning up for the festivities, it can feel like we are going against what's happening, when in reality we are leaning into our true compass.

Below the noise, chaos, and everything else, you are being called to something deeper. It's within all of us.

This is what we call core embodied desires, and they are at the centre of the nurture map journey.

When we get quiet and really listen it's there, a throbbing beat calling for your attention, sometimes it expresses itself as a feeling, or emotion, or sometimes an energy you don't really have the fullest words to describe, but it's there calling you in.

Maybe it's joy, stillness, peace, hope, or maybe something else, but you can feel it. You notice it in the moments you allow yourself to quieten down, daydream, or even rest, calling you deeper.

You also noticed it in the tension, of not living in that space, the feeling of misalignment, or when you say 'a part of me'.

It's your authentic soul truth crying out to be heard. When we allow it to be centered in ourselves, take up space in our lives, we start listening and everything shifts. It's a remembrance of our authenticity, who we truly are and how we exist in the world.

So ask yourself, what are you being called to centre within yourself?

Unlearning isn’t about losing yourself, it’s about clearing the noise so you can finally hear your own truth again. The conflict and resistance you feel in your body isn’t a sign you’re doing it wrong; it’s calling you into a deeper level of integrity, into the life that actually fits.

As you reclaim your inner wisdom, intuition, creativity, and most authentic self, your nervous system begins to soften. The body relaxes when it no longer has to perform, pretend, or carry stories that were never yours.

Zine making for wellbeing.

The Nurture Map x Zines Collab we didn't realise we needed - a work in progress.

We recently attended a Zine making for creative wellbeing and a trauma informed approach, here in Liverpool.

We are always looking for new and creative ways to integrate into the Nurture Map journey, and this Zine workshop showed us they are the perfect combination because of how they are approached fits so well with what we teach with the Nurture Map.

They really follow the ethos of the Nurture Map too, unlearning, unconditioning, showing how we are all creative in practice and embodiment. They also talked about how Zine making workshops can really be about connection, community, and not getting anything wrong. Also how the workshops are lateral and roundtable style leadership and facilitation.

Furthermore, what we love about zines is that the work can be expressed in more than words, and when this process of embodiment, energy and emotions sometimes we need more than words to express things. It also allows people to explore things like intuition in a really experiential way. Zines offer all this in their process.

Nurture Map and Zine making are the perfect combination and we will be integrating them into the Nurture Map. We will be using at as our signature workshop offerings. As well as including this as a section of our Nurture Map Facilitation and leadership course.

Finally, the first step is we are reimagining the actual visual Nurture Map as a Zine. This is an exciting way to display and explore the Nurture Map and it branches in a very exciting and visual way that goes beyond words.

Keep an eye out for the release of the Nurture Map designed as a Zine (work in progress shown in picture) and our workshop offerings. We will also in time be adding this to the Nurture Map academy course.

🍂 Nurture Map Academy – September 2025 Cohort

We’re looking for the next heart-centred, soul-led, community-focused mentors and leaders. Here to do things differently.

We are reimagining what community-centred wellbeing can look like. We’re training the next wave of mentors, facilitators, and leaders who are passionate about bringing wellbeing back into community, and here to do things differently.

You’ll be trained in the Nurture Map, a holistic, non-pathologising model of wellbeing, and mentored in how to become a beacon of permission for others. You’ll learn how to hold space for growth, not fixing. And how to guide people toward the version of themselves they already sense is possible.

This is not about becoming a therapist, counsellor, or even coach. This is about becoming a wayfinder, someone who walks with others through the mess, the meaning, and the becoming. Someone who knows how to hold space for transformation without trying to control or diagnose it.

This year, the academy is evolving into an evergreen, 12 month and beyond, self-paced offering, uniquely shaped around your own rhythm.

🧭This work lands differently.

The Nurture Map is about creating deep long lasting change, the kind that happens on a physiological and emotional level.

This is why we've never really focused on the simple and finite external outcomes that you could gain from this work, because we allow that to unfold for you on your own terms throughout your evolution.

However, the people that undertake this journey have very real metrics to show for their progress. We have noticed that these things show up in two ways, incomes, the changes that people notice inside. Outcomes, what changes occur in their external world, from doing this work.

We've put all these together in these slides, we've also included a forth slide of the kind of metrics people put on the value of the Nurture Map work itself. These are very real examples from the people we've worked with from all around the globe for well over a decade.
