Things you probably didn’t know about your instructor (from my point of view):

✨ I sometimes feel self-conscious standing at the front of the room.
✨ I show up with a smile—even on the days it’s hard to find one.
✨ Covering a class for someone else can be really nerve-wracking.
✨ I struggle with body-image, too.
✨ I give you every bit of my energy, even when my own tank is running low.
✨ Your smile in class? It genuinely warms my whole day.
✨ I have tough days and heavy moments, and I still show up for you.
✨ You might be my sixth class of the day—but I’ll never let you feel like it.
✨ I care about you—not what you wear or how you look.
✨ When you come back week after week, it means more than you know.
✨ I get imposter syndrome sometimes, just like anyone else.

A little reminder:
Be kind to your instructor. Throw them a smile. Remember that behind the mic, the music, and the energy… they’re human too. ❤️

Just showing up to class matters.
Not how fit you feel today.
Not what you look like.
Not what you’re wearing.

When you walk into the room—no matter your energy, mood, or mindset—you’re already doing something powerful for yourself. Fitness isn’t about being perfect; it’s about being present.

And I want you to know this: I’m here for you.
On your strong days, your tired days, your stressed-out days, and your “I almost didn’t come” days.

You don’t need the newest leggings or the perfect ponytail. You don’t need to feel confident or put together. You just need to show up. That’s it. I’ll meet you exactly where you are, every single time.

In this class, no one is judging your pace, your outfit, or your form. We’re all in this together, working on our own goals, our own struggles, our own growth.

So show up messy.
Show up unsure.
Show up late.
Show up in whatever you had the energy to grab.

Just show up—because when you do, you’re choosing yourself.
And I’m right here with you, cheering for you, every step, rep, and breath along the way.

When I teach my Pilates and Yoga classes - the most important part of the class to me is the end when we stop and do nothing but breathe

We are all programmed to believe that we must always be “doing” and be “busy” - yet no-one ever tells us to just “rest” and “stop”
We live in a fast past world….and sometimes the most productive thing you can do is “nothing”
Busy doesnt equal success & happiness

Take time out of every day to just stop, breathe and be present 🩶

I just wanted to do this quick post to say HI and introduce me - the person behind the business and a little bit about me.
Im Jen and have been in the Fitness Industry for 21 years and this year will be my 15th year running my business (before that I worked in gyms)

Before I worked in fitness I was a Dancer
I love classical music
Im a Level 5 Sports Therapist also
I volunteer with fans supporting food banks in the city
I am also a photographer - - always got my camera with me
Im a BIG LFC Fan
Im an only child
Ive got NO kids and don’t plan on ever having any (fact)
Im scared of flying, but I LOVE to travel....go figure
Im NOT an adrenaline ju**ie, and the thought of a theme park makes me sick
Im a proper book worm
Im obsessed with space and the moon
Im not competitive in the slightest
I love being in nature and going on adventures
Im a positive person, which can annoy some people but hey I just wanna brighten the world
Im 41 😬
Im navigating early peri menopause

Im not your “insta worthy” kind of instructor, I don’t have and never have wanted a 6 pack..I call out the BS and don’t want to be liked for how I look...I approach my classes, my business and how I am a lot different from a lot of the industry and that’s OK…but I Care a LOT about people and their health and happiness

OK that’s enough....just wanted to show Im human and a little insight into ME, beyond the rants and posts

As women, our bones tell a story — of strength, resilience, and change. But did you know that after the age of 30, we naturally begin to lose bone density? And that during and after menopause, this process can accelerate — with women losing up to 20% of their bone mass in the 5–7 years after menopause?

The good news? We can do something about it. 🙌

This workshop is all about moving with intention — using yoga to support strong, healthy bones, improve balance, and reduce the risk of falls and fractures. Through mindful movement, gentle resistance, and weight-bearing postures, we’ll focus on:
🌿 Building bone strength safely
🌿 Supporting posture and alignment
🌿 Enhancing stability and coordination
🌿 Reducing stress — because cortisol affects bone density too!

As the air turns crisp and the days grow shorter, autumn invites us to slow down, reflect, and nurture ourselves. 🌙

This is the season of cozy blankets, warm drinks, and gentle resets — a time to turn inward and care for your mind and body as nature does the same.

Here are a few ways to weave autumnal self-care into your days:

🍂 1. Embrace the slower pace.
Let yourself rest. Swap constant busyness for quiet evenings, warm baths, or journaling by candlelight.

🍁 2. Get outside daily.
Take a short walk among the changing leaves — the colours, sounds, and crisp air can do wonders for your mood and clarity.

☕ 3. Nourish with warmth.
Enjoy hearty soups, hot teas, and seasonal food like pumpkins, apples, and squash — foods that ground and comfort you.

🕯️ 4. Create a cozy ritual.
