Yesterday in clinic was one of those days that reminds me why I do this.
I started the day with an athlete deep into advanced ACL reconstruction rehab, back into running and finally trusting their knee again. It was threshold VO2 max work with a motivated client who is not interested in just being pain free, they want to push their engine and see what they are capable of.
A shoulder followed, rotator cuff related pain that had been hanging around for months, not weak, not damaged, just needing the right strength and exposure.
Later came a runner with a calf strain after a sudden jump in mileage, frustrated at first, then reassured once we mapped out a smarter return to running.
The gym floor turned into a HYROX prep session, loading under fatigue and building strength that actually transfers to race day.
An online check in came through from a long distance runner dealing with PFJ pain, keen to keep training and finally learning how to manage symptoms rather than stop every time pain appears.
Then my dad walked into clinic with mechanical low back pain, a reminder that pain does not discriminate and everyone needs guidance sometime but also the ability to be straight and honest on the right management.
The day finished with another calf strain, different person, different sport, same lesson around respecting tissue capacity.
Different injuries. Different goals. Same approach.
No matter where you are starting from or what you are working towards, rehab, performance or simply moving better, we have you covered.
