Fife Sailability

Fife Sailability Fife Sailability is a Club specifically for those with a disability, it is based at Lochore Meadows Watersports Centre in central Fife.

We operate as part of the Royal Yachting Association's Sailability initiative, facilitating the exhilaration and freedom that sailing can bring to all. We can mix & match gentle cruising, hands on sailing or formal training to suit individual needs and welcome groups or single participants. Parents and/or carers are welcome to share the experience. We supply essential safety equipment but visitors need to wear clothing suitable for a cool and rainy day. We have a dedicated changing/shower/toilet facility for our disabled participants. We are qualified to transfer sailors with our certified hoists and set high standards in safety and protection of vulnerable persons.

Club days are always so so busy and there is a huge amount of organisation that goes into running the club days.

We love that our blue shelter is a point for everyone to congregate, to chat, rest, eat delicious cake and catch up with friends.

Whether you are having a quiet time or busy time right now, please know we are looking forward to seeing you all next year for our 2026 season, we appreciate that this time of year doesn't suit everyone and that's okay. We are looking forward to seeing everyone in the better weather soon!

Season’s Greetings from Lochore Meadows Country Park.

We’d like to wish all our visitors a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Thank you for your continued support throughout the year. Over the holidays the visitor centre & cafe will be open at certain times for those who want to get outdoors and enjoy festive moments in the country park.

Key points to note:
• The Centre and Café will have reduced hours over the festive period between 10am-3pm.

• The Café will close at 2.30pm on days that the visitor centre is open with a reduced menu.

• The Outdoor Education Centre will be closed and reopen on Monday 5th January

We look forward to welcoming you over the festive break and into 2026!
