This is Laura Cole, our Patient Engagement Manager, and quite possibly the first person you’ll speak to when you get in touch with us. 👋

Before joining Opus in 2021, Laura spent 16 years in the travel industry, working within the aviation team at Crystal Ski. She made the move into private healthcare looking for a new challenge, and quickly became an integral part of how we support patients day to day.

Laura’s favourite part of her role? Seeing patients progress through their rehabilitation, from their first visit to full recovery — and being part of that journey.
Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find her in the gym with her husband, on a muddy dog walk with Ember, or spending time with her three teenagers (who keep life busy and brilliantly unpredictable).

This is Gavin Eivers, our Strength & Conditioning Coach. 💪

With over 20 years’ experience in strength, conditioning and rehab, Gavin’s helped people all over the world — from New York to Melbourne, Auckland and London — move better, feel stronger and stay active.

His approach isn’t about chasing PBs; it’s about long-term strength, health and performance. At Opus, he works closely with our physios and doctors to bridge the gap between rehab and performance.

Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find him outdoors — running trails, training or spending time with his family in Somerset.

Our following’s grown quite a bit lately, so if you’re new here, we’re reintroducing the people behind Opus.

This is Millie Lindsey, one of our physiotherapists (and our resident reformer expert). 👋
Millie knew she wanted to be a physio from the age of 15. A former national-level gymnast and synchronised swimmer, she spent plenty of time in physio clinics herself, and decided she wanted to be on the other side of the treatment table.

After graduating, she jumped straight into MSK physiotherapy and Pilates-based rehab, helping athletes and post-op patients get back to full strength.
Somehow, that also led to a career travelling the world, working as an on-set physio for film and theatre productions in New York, Atlanta and across Europe.

Millie joined Opus four years ago and has been part of the team ever since, combining precision, patience and Pilates to help patients move and feel better.

This is Bart Hudson-Gill, one of our Performance Physiotherapists. 👋

Bart started out in private practice, building a strong foundation in rehab and performance, before moving into a FIFA Centre of Excellence, where he worked with athletes across multiple sports, and even spent time in Italy learning from elite football clubs and medical teams.

He joined Opus about a year and a half ago and hasn’t looked back. Bart’s known for his calm, practical approach (and for always being up for a challenge), bringing the best of elite sport into everyday recovery and performance care.

Outside the clinic, he’s a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athlete, something that keeps him grounded and gives him a real appreciation of what it takes to stay fit, focused and injury-free.

Our following has grown quite a lot recently, so if you’re new here — we wanted to (re)introduce the team behind Opus.

First up, Ian Gilham, our Lead Physiotherapist. 👋

Ian began his career in the NHS before moving into professional football and later into the private sector, where he’s worked with high performers across sport, music and film, both in the UK and internationally.

He joined Opus four years ago and has been a key part of our growth ever since — helping shape how we approach physiotherapy, rehabilitation and performance.

Outside the clinic, Ian’s dad to two young boys who keep him busy (and honest) — balancing gym work, running and family life with the same energy he brings to his patients.

The start of a new year doesn’t need to mean punishment, restriction or chasing arbitrary numbers.

In GQ’s latest feature, “10 ways to make working out more fun in 2026”, performance specialist Gavin Eivers shares why enjoyment — not optimisation — is often the missing piece in long-term fitness.

From using short bursts of explosive movement to prime motivation, to reframing training around skill, novelty and neurological reward, the message is clear:
when movement feels good, consistency follows.

This year, we’re quietly dispelling the “New Year, New You” narrative — and replacing it with something far more sustainable:

Move better, think smarter, and enjoy the process.

What does wellness look like in 2026?

It’s becoming more scientific, more intentional, and far less about quick fixes.

We’re seeing a shift towards evidence-based recovery: treatments and tools that focus on longevity, not trends. From DEXA scans that assess bone health, to creatine supporting muscle and cognition, and infrared training that aids flexibility and circulation, wellness is getting smarter.

This evolution feels familiar. Our work in sports medicine, physiotherapy, and regenerative treatments already centres on the pillars shaping the year ahead, cellular repair, movement efficiency and sustainable performance.

Whether it’s using MRI imaging for precision diagnosis, PRP and stem cell therapy to aid recovery, or reformer Pilates to restore balance and strength, we believe in care that supports the whole system not just a single symptom.

2026 wellness isn’t about doing more, it’s about doing better.
