Honouring Diwali, The Festival of Lights, by celebrating the values it representsâhope, renewal, and the triumph of light over darkness.
đ Homes, streets, and temples are illuminated with diyas (oil lamps), candles, and lanterns to symbolise the victory of good over evil.
But everyone â families, friends, colleagues â has their own unique ways of celebrating and a personal sentiment of what Diwali means to them.
Binita, Clinical Support Lead, kindly shares her connection to the Festival:
âDiwali, to me, is more than just a festival of lights; it's a moment of reflection and renewal. Itâs a time when the glow of diyas brings warmth, not only to our homes but to our hearts. It reminds me of the power of light over darkness, good over evil, hope over despair, and love over fear.
Itâs a chance to pause and appreciate family, tradition, and the resilience we carry through lifeâs challenges. Whether it's sharing sweets, cleaning the home, or offering prayers, each ritual is a way to honour the past and welcome new beginnings. Even in difficult times, Diwali brings a sense of peace and spiritual grounding. Itâs a reminder that even the smallest flame can shine brightly and that joy can be found in togetherness, gratitude, and faith.â đ„
Wishing a joyful and prosperous Diwali to all who celebrate! đŻïžWe look forward to hearing from our teams about how they have been celebrating.
