Vegan athlete Angeline Berva just won both the European Strongman Games and the Static Monsters World Championships 2025, where she set a new world record.

At the European Strongman Games, Berva completed eight reps of a 210kg axle deadlift and threw five 12-15kg sandbags in under 15 seconds to become champion. At Static Monsters, she set the world record for women’s under 82kg axle deadlift with a 301kg pull, more than 50kg heavier than her closest competitor.

Hello lovelies I thought I'd share this with you lovely people. With the spring weather and the birds singing Mr Vegan filmes this of the garden. He does a fabulous job of keeping it all tidy. The pond has been really popular with all the wildlife seeing everything from Robins, Great T**s, Wood Pigeons and Squirrels so far.. Oh the tiniest has been the Hover flies and butterflies in the garden too.. Fingers crossed we get a sighting of the Hotchiwitchi who keeps well hidden only coming out at nught I guess to dine on the garden slugs and snails.. 💚

Hello lovelies I'd have to ensure it's a gluten free version as I don't want to trigger a flare. The difference is I'd eat this for lunch or dinner aswell as breakfast some nice sides to go with it or some homemade spicy herby rice mixed with some extra plant protein. Good for stabilising the blood glucose levels and for muscle strength.. 💚

Vegan Breakfast Burrito 🌯with 5 Ingredient Tofu Scramble, Breakfast potatoes 🥔chickpea pancake, tomatoes 🍅 pepitas and salsa! It has 25 Gm Protein!!

We're proud to say we've saved 2 bees using sugar water mixture over the years so happy to share posts like this that demonstrate the necessity for caring for our lovely bees and other wildlife vital to our ecosystem. Without them we'd have no food and can't sustain life.. ❤️ 🍀 🦋

If you see a bee of any description on the floor or not flying other than on a flowering plant, it is STARVING! You can help.

We are currently well into the 'June Gap' - the time between when the Spring flowering plants stop and the Autumn flowers start producing pollen and nectar.

You can help by mixing two parts sugar to one part water and offering the syrup to the bee. She (and they are mostly ladies) will happily drink from a teaspoon. You'll see her little black tongue as she drinks. It will take about 10 minutes for her to convert the syrup to energy, but she will fly away if you've helped her in time. The feeling you get on seeing her recovery and flight is well worth your time.

PLEASE NOTE - This is a temporary measure and 'First Aid' only. The Bees need diversity in their diet and need to pollinate plants in their search for food. I'm not suggesting we feed sugar to Bees as a regular thing.

NO HONEY PLEASE - Disease can be spread easily from colony to colony through this practice and you will do more damage than good. White sugar and water only please x

Simple comfort food lentil spinach cottage pie topped with creamy mashed red potatoes carrots and sweet potatoes (white and red fleshed) placed in the oven at gas mark 6 I think around 250c? I only use gas so any electric temperatures are what I convert from my gas equivalent.. As in the UK e still use gas aswell as electricity and halogen to cook our food.. ❤️
