Sleep is just one of the benefits of being in a space where you can express your emotions and find inner peace 😴

I talk about it today because it’s the one thing we all need the most
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Even as a parent getting a good sleep when you can is vital for your health and well-being so taking time to heal what keeps you up at night is the key to going into a deep slumber
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I used to lay there awake for at least an hour every night, mind whirring, anxiety pumping then when I did learn to get to sleep, I’d be waking up multiple times in the night 🌙
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Now I feel so grateful for the hard word I’ve put into healing my emotional wounds because I’m getting off to sleep much quicker and staying asleep for a lot longer too

There are things you can do around bedtime routines but if your anxiety is still high, you’re angry at the past, your frustrated with someone then that routine isn’t going to do much
