These photos are 7️⃣months apart.
I saw this wonderful lady for 5ml of dermal filler over 2️⃣sessions. It is a good example to see how undereyes can look even after 7️⃣ months of treatment. I used (my favourite) Teosyal Redensity 2 in the under eyes.
In her last session, we used 1ml of lip filler with some work around her smile lines.
This is actually not the perfect candidate for tear trough filler and surgery is a good alternative. However, sometimes there are other factors we need to consider in our consultation. We are both very happy with what we achieved so far.
(One thing I want to criticise - the pictures are not taken from the exact same angle. I am trying to be more consistent with this!😬)

Your little guide to . Why does it happen after ? (SAVE this and thank me later)
Bruising is sometimes inevitable. It’s a little bit frustrating when you bruise but the good news is it resolves in a few days and doesn’t affect the outcome of your treatment.
⚠️ If you are concerned and something is particularly painful always communicate with your as soon as possible.

Subtle and gentle volume for already on this lady 😍
She tells me that she was so nervous 😥 about having and has been thinking about for a very long time. She didn’t want and I most definitely didn’t want to her face.
Belotero intense was used in this patient to try and give back what she once had. What do you think?

Virgin lips that already had great shape. This lovely girl had the most beautiful smile 😍, the only thing that bothered her was the “thinness” of her lips when she smiles.
I used 0.6ml of Belotero (one of my absolute favourite products 🤩).
The trick 💡 is to build it up slowly and ALWAYS working with your natural anatomy. Adding a lot of product to the corners of the lips can give rise to the dreaded ledge/shelf/🦆.
The beauty ✨ of injectables is not on how BIG you can go, it’s making sure that whatever we enhance suits your face in a balanced way.

One of my favourite treatments to do is the under eye area (aka tear troughs) 👁

This was something my patient has been thinking about for a while. By placing dermal filler 💉carefully, we can replace some of the lost volume in this area and reduce the hollowing. It’s a trick of the light 💡 that makes her under eye look brighter and fresher. What do you think?

This beautiful lady noticed the lines above her lips have become more apparent in recent years. She’s also noticed that her lips have lost their shape and volume. She wanted something natural, undetectable and subtle.
Treating a mature lip is often more difficult than treating a younger lip. Careful consideration of skin, adjacent structures (AND the teeth) must be taken so that it doesn’t look overdone

Are you worried about starting a retinoid cream? If you’re thinking about incorporating retinoids to your regime or you haven’t used one in a long time, you may want to ease into them. This reduces some of the known side effects of using retinoids like the redness and peeling that a lot of people are worried about.😰
📝I have listed some over the counter products you may wish to try. They are not all the same and have different active ingredients (check out my previous posts on retinoid activity for more). You can start with the weaker forms and slowly build up. For example, use a pea sized amount every other day for a 4 weeks then slowly increase to every day.
☀️ Retinoids can make the skin more sensitive to UV radiation so sun protection is particularly important when using retinoids. You don’t need to use multiple retinoids (one is enough)!
