😅 Here's how Jess can reduce your stress!

Stress can have a negative impact on both physical and mental health, which can ultimately hinder progress in the gym or during workouts.

When we experience stress, our bodies release the hormone cortisol, which can cause an increase in blood sugar levels and a decrease in testosterone.

This hormonal imbalance can make it difficult to build muscle and lose fat.

I want to share this incredible journey with my long-term client Madeline. We have been working together for over 7 months now and we also worked together in 2021!

As Nike would say, just do it.

Procrastination is based in fear. We let fear takeover ourselves & what we truly want in life. We try and come up with any excuse to take action. But, by letting your action prolong, it keeps you further away from your goal.

Let the fear excite you! Get excited about what it if it goes right or believe in yourself that you deserve the goal!

Taking the first step is the scariest but I promise, it gets easier. Don’t focus on the whole staircase & take the first step and gradually things will get easier once you know you’re getting towards what you truly want.

🥳 Here's how we planned Sarah's success to achieve her biggest goal yet!

💃🏼 Sarah & I have been working together since summer of 2022 and what a journey it’s been so far.

🤩 She came to me with a dream to achieve her biggest fitness goal yet & I was so excited for her, not only as a coach, but also a friend!

💪🏼 Here is a snippet of how we are working towards her goal:
- We identified her goal and broke into mini phases and goals to allow each phase to be achievable and bite-sized.
- I created a plan that was adaptable & personalised to Sarah’s lifestyle so it would fit seamlessly into her life!
- Every week, Sarah checks in where we review her progress, make changes where needed and provide support where possible.

🎉 I cannot wait to share more about her journey and her goals! For now, here is what Sarah has said about her journey so far:

“I have been working with Jess for the last 9 months and honestly think it has been one of the best decisions I've made. My training programme fits into my lifestyle so well and Jess has always made sure to answer any of my random questions that crop up along the way. The plan we have made has been enitrely based on my goals and Jess is brilliant to adapt or change this as needs be, especially when a few unexpected things have popped up along the way. She is great to provide reasurrance and support when I think things are going "off track" and I can easily trust her in guiding me through my first photoshoot prep over the next few months. I see these constantly being mentioned my people:

“I need to eat the right foods”
“ I had bad good at the weekend”
“ I need to stop eating treats”

From here on out, please stop labelling your food. The only labels that are associated with food, is the labels that contain the nutrtionional facts.

By labelling your food, your giving the food power over you & limiting your food choices. Food is food, it’s fuel for our body. Sure, some food is more nutrient dense than others but it doesn’t make it ‘better’ than others.

One of the best ways to get physique results is ensuring you are enjoying the process.

Myself and Fiona worked together for an incredible 6 months where we build routine, knowledge and enjoyment.

We started working together during lockdown last year and every week, she was always eager to learn, build structure to her routine and began feeling more confident each week.

It’s with great excitement (and nerves) that I bring new latest service: Marketing Consultancy Sessions.

Before I get into it, I’m not claiming to be a business mentor/coach- I’m simply sharing my skills and knowledge 🚀

Before I began Online Coaching, I have worked in marketing for over 5 years across sectors such as hospitality, tech, franchising & events.

Now, I want to bring my marketing knowledge & coaching into one!

• STOP RESTRICTING YOURSELF •

So we are two days into this week so far, are you enjoying or or “living for the weekend”? When it comes to nutrition, during the week, you don’t have to restrict yourself in order to enjoy your weekends.

If you’re goals are a Monday-Friday commitment, do you really think you’re giving it enough?

If you’re tired of starting the ‘new week, new me’ vicious cycle, it’s time to get off that hamster wheel, you deserve better. If your goal and your ‘why’ behind the goal is important to you, you won’t hit that button. So, to avoid hitting that button, really figure out WHY you want to achieve something.

You: “Jess, I just want to lose weight”
Jess: “Ok, why do you want to lose weight?”
You: “I don’t know, just because?”

Not really a strong ‘why’, is it? Grab a pen and paper, or, open up the Notes section on your phone and ask yourself why you have set your current goal.

Here are some prompts to help:
How do you want to feel?
How do you want to look?
What do you want to achieve?
How will I monitor my progress for success?
How do I celebrate my wins?

I know these questions can seem like a lot, but, spending 5 minutes figuring out your why, will bring more clarity and help bring you ease knowing you can still achieve your goals Friday-Sunday. So now, the choice is up to you!
