Breathing easier with Respahealth - your partner in respiratory health

Empower yourself: Take control of your breathing with these simple techniques.

Simple breathing techniques you can try:

Belly breathing: Sit or lie down comfortably, place one hand on your belly and the other on your chest. Take a deep breath in through your nose, letting your belly rise as you inhale. Exhale slowly through your mouth, feeling your belly lower as you breathe out.

4-7-8 breathing: Inhale through your nose for a count of 4, hold your breath for a count of 7, then exhale slowly through your mouth for a count of 8. Repeat several times.

Alternate nostril breathing: Close your right nostril with your thumb, inhale through your left nostril for a count of 4. Then close your left nostril with your ring finger and exhale through your right nostril for a count of 8. Repeat, alternating nostrils.

Remember to always breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth, and to take slow, deep breaths. These techniques can help reduce stress, increase focus, and promote relaxation.
