Ingredients
•2 tablespoon chocolate protein powder ❤️discount code “MELLY20”❤️
•1 cup ISWARI Ireland & UK] nut butter
•1 cup almond flour
•1 large organic egg or for the vegan option 3-4 tbs ground chia seeds (I use ISWARI Ireland & UK]

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking tray with parchment.
In a large mixing bowl or stand mixer, combine all your ingredients and mix until fully combined.
Using your hands, form cookie dough into small golf-sized balls. Place on the lined cookie sheet or baking sheet. Use the palm of your hands and press lightly- Do not press into an entire cookie shape so they remain quite thick.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges become just cooked. Remove from the oven and allow to cool on the sheet for 20 minutes, before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Cookies can be kept in a sealed container for up to a week. They taste fantastically refrigerated and last for 2 weeks. They are also freezer friendly.

Forget achieving your goals

Just joking… however there is something much more important just below the surface of goal setting that is incredibly important to be aware of.

What we as humans enjoy is the action of moving towards something, the motivation, purpose and meaning it gives us.

It’s really not about achieving the goal.
It’s about who you become along the way and what you experience as a result of setting it.

It’s about growth, becoming and evolving into a new and improved version of yourself.

Trust me… you don’t really want to reach the end.
Your mind wants to quell the anxiety of “wanting to get it done and finished” But you will never arrive! All you will achieve is the end of that seeking energy.

Your freedom is here in the middle of all it all. Don’t believe that the end goal is what you want, what you want. It’s the journey I promise, amidst the good bad and ugly stories that life unfolds.

So set your New Years goals, but enjoy the journey ❤️

It is said that if we meet the needs of our partner in all these areas then the chances of the relationship thriving go up by ten fold.

Knowing the 6 human needs and using them as a road map in your relationship affects your ability to connect deeper in your relationship and is crucial to your understanding of what fuels you. It can also help you better understand and manage triggers and be in charge of your own emotions.

Forget vision boarding 😳
Try “emotional visioning”

We are essentially "feeling" creatures… we only ever do things or buy things in order to feel a certain way.

Next time you have a desire to do something, check in with yourself and ask why? it always comes down to wanting to experience a certain feeling.

If you don’t create a vision for yourself you allow yourself to be guided by other people’s and therefore never live a life authentic to you.

Your vision consists of your:
Values
Dreams
Desires
Goals

The exercise i'm about to share with you isn’t about vision boarding (which is a really incredible tool if you've never done it) … This is all about “feelings”.

A vision for your future should be centred around your emotional well being, so focus on the feelings you want to experience rather than obtaining tangible objects.

And then... trust and allow life to fill in the blanks.

There might just be something off your radar and ready to come into your life that you don’t even know you needed or even existed.

So here it is... get out your journal.

1. Reflect on the last six months and write down the first five emotions that come to mind.

2. Now write down the first five emotions you want to feel moving into the new year.

3. What current habits are supporting your emotional vision? what are hindering it?

4. What do you need to let go of or become more mindful of in order to support your emotional vision?

5. What can I add in to my life that helps cultivate those feelings on a daily, hourly basis? What or who is in my life that already brings about these feelings?

And then like magic 🪄last week I got to meet the man who I get daily inspiration from on my walks around Battersea park 🎉

It is now worth an estimated £300M 😍🙌

But it’s not the money that interests me… it’s the mindset, personal development, growth and the vulnerability that got him to where he is that I find so fascinating.

Chatting with Steven he told me his favourite quote to live by was “whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right” ~ Henry Ford.

Because at the end of the day it’s true, there are far less qualified or talented people doing things that you want to be doing simply because they believed they could and took that chance.

One of my favourite episodes from is the one with as it was super vulnerable and it surprised me how self aware and mindful he was.

Stevens favourite interview on his podcast was with “The happiness expert” which I also thought was a phenomenal listen.
