It's my birthday week 🎂
And I’m finally sharing something I’ve wanted to do for years.

I’ll be hosting a denim quilling workshop at The Stitch Festival — a quiet, early-morning space to slow down, create, and begin the day gently.

We’ll work with denim ribbon, rolling and shaping it into textured quilled designs that can be framed, gifted, or used for future projects.

It’s mindful.
It’s tactile.
It's wearable.

Thank you to everyone who’s supported this journey — quietly or loudly — along the way.

🎟 Discount code: WT26
ÂŁ2 off standard adult / concession tickets
(T&Cs apply. Expires Sunday 8th March 2025.)

January has a habit of shouting when it should be listening.

Earlier this month, I shared a video saying that January is lying to you - that it isn’t the month for perfectly formed goals, but for reflection, noticing patterns, and understanding what’s actually going on beneath the surface.

So here’s my reality check, on the last day of the month.

January wasn’t neat or planned. It asked for flexibility, honesty, and quiet resilience.

A snippet of what that actually looked like:
✔️ Navigating family health priorities (my family always comes first).✔️ Many job rejections - that only meant I was getting closer to the one that will align with my values.✔️ Signing a new contract.✔️ Pivoting travel plans (India paused - and that’s okay).
✔️ Attending a Health Convention.
✔️ Wrote an article on AI and submitted a Q1 reflection nugget for a newsletter.✔️ Cherishing stress-free time for morning Tai Chi, gym routine and fuelling my body properly.✔️ Returning to journaling last week, working with my energy, not against it.✔️ Letting my natural curls be just that - natural.✔️ Signing four new customers.
✔️ Saying goodbye to a dear friend - a reminder on how precious life truly is.

None of it was on a vision board. All of it was real life.

Choosing analysis over pressure stripped back expectation and restored perspective. It reminded me that progress often looks quieter than we expect - persistence, adaptation, and staying open when things don’t go to plan. I truly had big dreams like everyone, with a little feeling reminding me at the back of my mind whilst navigating everything life had planned for me.

You’ve still got eleven months ahead. Let what you’ve noticed guide what comes next.

January doesn’t need to be rushed.

It’s okay if clarity hasn’t arrived yet.

Sometimes it only comes after we slow down.

I’ve been sharing a few calm reflections — on work pressure, pace, and creating space to breathe.

If you need a quieter voice today, you’ll find it on YouTube.

A soft beginning.
A quiet step into a new year.
No rush, no pressure - just presence.
Here’s to 2026 unfolding one moment at a time.

This year I began my journey as a contractor while studying Marketing, with so many unplanned and unexpected events along the way — each one shaping its own life‑changing path.
I’m ending the year by completing my contract work and giving 100% of my time to Mindfulness Craft.

Another year of unexpected turns, quiet growth, and learning to trust the path as it unfolded.

Thank you for being part of my 2025 journey.

A quiet moment between the days.
A little calm before the new year begins.

A little Boxing Day calm.

These boxes were made for anyone who needs a moment to breathe — whether you’ve been to a workshop or not.

Inside each one is a simple, soothing way to slow down and reconnect.

Some people keep them for themselves.
Some gift them to someone who might need a little calm.

Either way, the ripple continues. 📦💜✨

This was made by an employment lawyer.

He arrived knackered.
Back from paternity leave.
Running on broken sleep.
Excited for Christmas - and quietly nervous he “wasn’t creative.”

He didn’t leave energised.
He left calmer.

Still knackered - but steadier.
More grounded.
And genuinely surprised by what his hands had made.

That’s the power of slowing down together.
No fixing.
No pressure.
Just space to breathe, talk, and make something - without needing to be good at it.

This is what Mindfulness Craft creates inside organisations.
Not productivity boosts.
But human pauses.

And those pauses matter - especially when life is already full.

One of my favourite bits of feedback from a recent workshop came on a tiny post‑it note:

“Overwhelmed with how much Christmas admin I still have to get done, not much down time → Calmer.”

Isn’t that exactly how December feels?
Everything builds up… until you finally give yourself a moment to pause.
And suddenly the admin doesn’t feel quite so heavy.

Mindful creativity has a way of grounding you before you get swept up again.
A calmer you is always better equipped to handle the Christmas chaos.

If you’re feeling the festive overwhelm, maybe a creative pause is exactly what you need.

Most of us have a mess drawer.
You know the one.
Everything important.
Everything unfinished.
All tangled together.

This is what many minds look like right now.

Ideas overlapping.
Thoughts looping.
Pressure, responsibility, fatigue - all mixed together.

Nothing is wrong.
It’s just crowded.

In our sessions, people don’t come to “fix” their thoughts.
They come to lay them out.

Strip by strip.
Slowly.
Without judgement.

As the paper unravels, something else happens.
The noise softens.
The mind finds order.
The mess drawer becomes organised - not empty, just calmer.

This is what making with your hands can do.
Not therapy.
Not productivity.
Just space.

And sometimes, space is exactly what people need.

This week isn’t about finishing everything.
It’s about finishing enough.

Most people are running on fumes right now.
Trying to close loops. Clear inboxes. Be “done” before Christmas.

Here’s a gentler way to approach this week:

→ Finish what truly needs finishing
→ Park what can wait
→ Let “good enough” be good enough

You don’t need to empty your inbox to rest.
You need to stop tightening the grip.

A calm ending creates a calmer beginning.
That’s how rest actually starts.

(Save this if you need the reminder.)

In 2026, we create spaces where teams practise slowing down before exhaustion hits.
Mindfulness Craft workshops are about calm, connection, and breathing space - together.
