⚠️Here is a comparison with meat, Im not saying eat this or that this is just for a bit of information on how to get other sources of protein.so please dont get angry its just free information ℹ
Where most British get there protein. Broccoli has less fat and a bunch of micronutrients. Broccoli is rich in vitamin k, c, chromium, folate, fiber, b6, e, phosphorus, b2, ba and many more...

Now... you would need to eat a lot of broccoli to get 100 calories, but broccoli is the better option over meat.
Meat is high in saturated fat, cholesterol and has no fiber. Meat has iron, protein and b12 but you need to take in the fact of what else comes along with the good stuff. Animal protein has been researched a lot. Animal protein excretes more calcium than normal through the kidneys and increases the risk of osteoporosis. Casein in animal products has been linked to colon cancer as well.

Loaded Greek Chickpea Chopped Salad 🌱🍅
{ I LOVE a crisp, fresh veggie salad sans lettuce on occasion ! What about you?

280 calories per portion
makes about 4 servings

ingredients:
15 oz chickpeas, rinsed and drained
1/2 small red onion, sliced thin
2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
1/3 cup pitted Kalamata olives
2 small English cucumbers, sliced
1/3 cup feta cheese, crumbled (I added a chopped jalapeno today for a little kick - totally optional!)

Dressing:
2 Tbsps extra virgin olive oil
2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar, or apple cider vinegar for the extra health benefits
1 Tbsp raw honey
2 small garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp dried oregano
freshly ground sea salt and pepper, to taste

🍊Fresh Fruits. Fruit is naturally very sweet and a great choice when you get a sugar craving. In addition to tasting great, fruit is an extremely nutritious snack. It provides prebiotic fiber, antioxidants and beneficial plant compounds, all in very few calories

🥛Greek Yogurt. It's higher in protein and lower in sugar than regular yogurt, and it's a good source of calcium, B vitamins and beneficial bacteria.

🍫Snack Bars. When choosing a snack bar, look for one that's minimally processed and contains whole foods like fruit or oats.
