Try this: Next time you talk with someone important, focus on their words and reflect back what you hear. Notice how the conversation shifts.

It is important to know about your and your partners attachment style as it can not only help you become more aware of your past patterns and triggers but it can also help you understand your partners triggers and learn skills to manage yourself. It is important not to take it personally but understand that building a healthy relationship means supporting eachother, especially when triggered. Practicing these thoughts and behaviors can help you develop a more secure attachment and create healthy relationship dynamics. Focus on self regulation, validation, and communicate effectively.
