What does success look like for you in 21 days?
“Momentum makes you dangerous.” — Napoleon Hill
“If you want change, don’t speak it — move it.” — Jim Rohn
Today is Day 1 of the 21 Days Goals & Fitness Challenge, and here’s my reflection.
I am a starter.
The real question for me is: How do I become both a starter and a finisher?
Starting something is rarely the hardest part.
It may not be a walk in the park, but it’s definitely easier than sticking with it until the end.
So how do I become a finisher?
I think about marriage.
Most couples get married because there’s love, chemistry, and excitement. But when the initial excitement fades and familiarity sets in, a laid-back attitude can creep in. That’s when conscious effort becomes necessary , choosing to grow together, learning to tolerate each other, and covering one another’s weaknesses.
Finishing anything in life works the same way.
It requires intention, commitment, and planning beyond the excitement of starting.
For me, that means:
Learning to see the end from the beginning
Visualising each step of the journey
Planning the night before, so I show up prepared
Why do I need to complete this challenge?
Because it’s not just about these 21 days.
It’s about preparing myself for the bigger goals I want to achieve.
This challenge is helping me:
Build consistency
Strengthen discipline
Eliminate the cost we keep paying for procrastination
Momentum is built one intentional day at a time.
