Compliments Dr(Med) Richard Adinkrah Kyeremeh, second Medical Superintendent of Tain District Hospital. He is currently the Municipal Director of Health Services at the Sunyani Municipal Health Directorate and a practicing Family Physician Specialist with the Ghana College of Physicians.

Dr. Adinkrah joined TDH as a Medical Officer in 2016. He subsequently took up the reigns of leadership in 2018-2022. He is credited for supervising the smooth transition of the facility from the old site to its current location.

He is a proud JOBA!

Many more to celebrate for their academic milestones. Meet our Head of Administration, Mr. Ofori-Agyei, a seasoned Health Service Administrator. He bagged a "Master of Science in Corporate Governance and Strategic Leadership" at the 59th Congregation of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, KNUST.

He joined the facility in January 2026 after meritorious services in three other facilities, including the Sunyani Municipal Hospital.

She's audacious, courageous, dauntless, fearless, and relentless. She was the second Pharmacist of Tain District Hospital and served from 2014 to 2022. She now heads the Regional Medical Stores (RMS) in Sunyani. She is Dr. Pharm Yaa Fynn.

On Friday, she bagged her third masters degree, this time in Pharmaceutical Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the KNUST. Big congratulations Dr Fynn.

She says I'm moving the whole RMS to @60 grand durbar.

Warmest congratulations to Hon. Patricia Pearl Ankrah, DCE for Afigya-Kwabre East, on your graduation with a Masters in Pharmaceutical Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the KNUST.

Hon. Ankrah served as an Administrative Manager with the Tain District Hospital from 2020 from 2023. Her humility at post and her political anonymity whilst in public service was exemplary and worthy of commendation.

Greetings Dr. Pharm. Patrick Opoku Kumi, first Pharmacist of Tain District Hospital and CEO of OK Pharmacy.

He is credited for starting extempreneous preparations that saw the hospital begin the production of cough mixtures, antacids and paracetamol syrup. He also initiated the production of liquid soap and detergent in the facility.

NANA EFFAH GYAN MEMORIAL LIBRARY & SKILLS LAB.

The Late Nana Effah Gyan was the Sanaahene of Nsawkaw Traditional Council and also served as the Chairman of the Hospital Advisory Board. He is credited with gifting a large portion of his family's land through the Nsawkaw Traditional Council to be used as the current site of the Tain District Hospital. His family has also made various donations to the hospital. Nana was always the first to arrive at any hospital event to which he was invited.
The hospital library and skills lab therefore stand in memory of his meritorious contribution to the healthcare delivery in Tain District.

He's Alhaji Abdul-Aziz Abubakar, Head of Administration from 2017 to 2022. He's credited for leading the documentation of a detailed 5-year development plan for the hospital for the period 2020-2025 and setting up a structured administrative setup after the hospital's movement to its new site. He is currently the Head of Administration, Sunyani Municipal Hospital.
