🌱 Seed of Play® Turns 3! 🌱
Wow… what a journey.
This month we celebrate our third birthday, and I’m feeling incredibly humbled, grateful, and excited for everything Seed of Play® has become.
When I look back to those very first sessions—the moment I saw parents and children building side-by-side, sharing ideas, laughing together, learning from each other, watching their eyes light up—it planted something deep in me.
Knowing that the wood we use would have been thrown away, yet instead became a source of joy, pride, and connection… that was the spark. That was the moment I had this (slightly crazy!) idea:
✨ “What if more children could experience this?”
✨ “What if we put real tools into little hands—safely, creatively, confidently?”
Three years later… look at what we’ve built together.
🌟 Reached over 4,000 children
🌟 Saved thousands of kg of timber from landfill
🌟 Worked with incredible organisations like Sky TV
🌟 Booked for The Dorchester this Christmas
🌟 Welcomed by festivals, schools, nurseries & families across the UK
🌟 And grown a community that truly believes in what hands-on, nature-connected play can do for children.
I think our success is a reflection of where society is right now.
We are craving real experiences, real connection, real skills, and a return to the natural world.
Seed of Play® is our small contribution to that shift—
A reminder that creativity, confidence, and curiosity grow best when children are trusted with real tools and real challenges.
To every parent, school, festival, company, facilitator, and supporter:
