Is a condition where cells like the ones in the lining of the womb (uterus) are found outside the womb in the pelvis, and occasionally in more remote sites of the body- including lungs, brain, skin etc. This leads to tumour-like growths & cysts spreading havoc and chaos within & throughout your bodyโ

I had 5 laparoscopies to remove endometrial growths, all prior to transitioning. โ
โ
I've had my appendix removed, and have had endo spread across my bladder, appendix, lower intestines, colon, and possibly to my lungs - leading to a lung biopsy. โ
โ
It's been a really rough road.โ
โ
One of my plans has always been to shine light on endometriosis in and the high numbers in which it does - but to also show you can get through it. I still have pain to this day, which may never go away, and I require nerve blocks and trigger point injections every 4 weeks, maybe forever. So despite me being male, and having transitioned - I still live with this pain every day too. I feel for all the women (and men) out there! ๐ค"โ
