Kidney donation, who can donate to who ? The answer is anyone to anyone. Race, gender, religion does not matter, inside our bodies we all have the same organs. It is down to blood and tissue type which the initial blood test for compatibility determines.

Joy and happiness in the dialysis ward this morning. Jasmine got ‘the call’ at midnight yesterday 👍🏾👏🏾 she’s at Addenbrookes now being transplanted. That’s her and Ricky who have had calls and being transplanted in the last year 👏🏾

HB (hemoglobin) finally above ⬆️ 100 whoop, whoop ! still a bit of a way to go to ‘normal’ levels but the extra energy being at 110 is amazing. Also the portable dialysis machines have finally arrived 👍🏾👍🏾
