We’re en route back from a retreat. Giving yourself time to reflect, talk, step out of the everyday, work out and soak up the sun is restorative in ways you can’t imagine. And one thing we have finely tuned whilst there is the art of mindfulness. Mindfulness means different things to different people but fundamentally is the art of being self aware, aware of others and our presence in the world. It’s the ability to know when to slow down. When to hit the restart button. What’s the point of mindfulness? Do it and you’ll increase productivity, efficiency and more often than not, creativity too! ā€œAre you ok?ā€ Is the most important question you can ask someone. Really ask them. The easy answer is of course ā€œyeah, I’m fineā€. But hear between their words.
It’s , which is great because we are all being made more aware of checking in with people. But this shouldn’t be isolated to today. Checking in with yourself and those around you should be as routine as brushing your teeth. Mental health is still taboo and YOU can change it. If you’re feeling low today, tomorrow or any day, remember YOU HAVE GOT THIS.

Our clients are always on the move and like a lot of us, are juggling 100 things at every given moment. Squeezing in a work out can be challenging but it’s very doable. There are lots of different apps out there that give you training ideas on the move. We love recommending to those who can’t make it down to train with us. It offers great HIIT workouts made up of mostly compound movements using just your body weight so no equipment is needed and you can do them just about anywhere! The videos give you a solid guide for technique and are really clear and easy to follow along with. It’s around Ā£50 for an annual subscription so much more affordable than many of the other apps out there. Quit the excuses and get that body moving! We’ll be cheerleading you from Vault HQ! .

It’s easy to feel slightly overwhelmed by the volume of quotes we see on social media but every now and then, there’s one that will really resonate. Our quote of the week is courtesy of Bill Clinton : ā€œone of the most important things is to see people. The person who opens the door for you, the person who pours you coffee. Acknowledge them. Show them respect.ā€
