'Behind every strong woman is a story that didn't give her any choice'...

Hi 👋🏾 I'm Belinda, founder of Your Trusted Squad. I have been very quiet in 2021 so far, and that's because I have been working on something special to launch THIS MONTH! I can't tell you how excited I am to be offering a service to support women on their fertility journey.

First of all, I've noticed a few new faces around here, so I thought I'd reintroduce myself, my background and my mission moving forward.

As a Doctor, I initially trained in obstetrics, gynaecology and sexual health before becoming a GP. I was a Medical Director of a well known Healthcare Company based in London and a Private Consultant advising startups and prominent healthcare companies.

I 'had it all'; a multiple six-figure income and a fantastic lifestyle. I worked long hours and loved my work, but conceiving wasn't easy.

As I was experiencing my 4th miscarriage, my Mum was diagnosed with cancer. It all went rapidly downhill.

I reduced my working hours to just a few per week but never became pregnant again despite having 9 IVF cycles. My Mum died, and the pain and fatigue from endometriosis and adenomyosis got worse.

It felt as though I had no control over anything. I was told this was 'Gods plan' and found it so confusing why God would plan this.

I had to make God's plan worthwhile. I had to take control & make something great out of the pain and devastating loss.

And so, Your Trusted Squad was born!

As I followed my heart and tried to articulate YTS into something tangible, my mission was clear; to help as many women as possible trying to conceive ( ) and ensure they have a better fertility experience than we did.

Not only does my background support my clients, team & my business, I know what it's like to be on a fertility journey; trying every technique under the sun, Google Searching to the nth degree and visiting endless specialists.

No matter where you are in your fertility journey, YTS will guide you by bringing you the right resources, the right people and the right support!

Throwback to fun times with the One Healthtech team 😍

On a completely unrelated topic...I’m not feeling well today and feel like watching some interior design/property/renovation programmes.

I’ve watched ‘Love it or list it’, George Clarke’s ‘Old house , new home’, Grand designs, Fixer Upper.

I’d like to watch something I haven’t watched before. If you like these type of programs, can you suggest one?

Maybe even on You Tube? 🤷🏾‍♀️

Ooooh so I found this exciting .. and wanted to share (I’m even posting a no make up selfie; first time for everything!!)😃⠀

I’m actually on the Clinical Advisory Board (CAB) of Daye (CBD-infused tampons) and although I have seen their manufacturing facilities I’ve never seen the full product so I was excited to open my first pack today 🙌🏾⠀
⠀
I have suffered with endometriosis since I was at school. I usually spend a few days a month miserable often crying, in bed, in pain, lethargic and around once a year end up in hospital for either surgery or IV pain killers 🧘🏾‍♀️⠀
⠀
So when I was introduced to the founder Valentina, learned about Daye and their ethos and was asked to join their CAB it just felt like a good fit and I agreed. ⠀

Last week I subscribed to the service. I also confess that I wanted the tin for my handbag but I definitely was not expecting to feel this way about opening a parcel of tampons 🤣⠀
