Endometriosis is not “just bad period pain”. Yet this is one of the most persistent myths.

Endometriosis is a chronic inflammatory condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows elsewhere in the body. It can cause a range of symptoms including pain, fatigue, bowel and bladder symptoms, and more.

Misinformation and normalisation of pain contributes to the delay that many face in receiving an Endometriosis diagnosis.
