Valentine’s Day can focus on how we show love to others. Today, we are talking about how you show it to yourself.

Self support is not indulgent. It is part of overall health. Emotional wellbeing, stress regulation, sleep, nutrition and routine all play a role in how the body functions, including reproductive health.

Fertility is complex and never comes down to one factor. But daily behaviours across roughly the 90 day window of egg and s***m development can add up over time.

This is your reminder that you do not need to be perfect. Small, consistent actions matter❤️.

Pregnancy announcements can bring many emotions. Joy, hurt, frustration, often all at the same time.

These moments can feel heavy, but this experience is more common that people often realise.

In collaboration with Seetal Savla, this post is about acknowledging the ‘sting’ that can come with pregnancy announcements, especially in a world where these moments are often shared publicly and frequently.

Protecting your wellbeing and allowing yourself to feel matters. Learn more about this and Seetal’s advice on our blog🩵.

Male fertility matters.

Yet it is still frequently overlooked or misunderstood. Up to 50% of all fertility challenges involve male factors, but public conversation and online advice often focuses almost entirely on women🤯.

Our Fertility Fact Check series is built to address common myths with clear, evidence-backed information that you can trust. This is why we are so proud to be PIF TICK accredited, meaning we are a trusted source of health information✅.

Male reproductive health not only matters, but is reflective of general health and wellbeing. It’s influenced by a range of factors including; lifestyle, stress and environmental exposures⚖️.

This means that male fertility is something that we can take proactive measures and steps to improve. Initiating conversations around this topic and providing evidence-backed advice can therefore transform the current reality of male fertility in the UK❤️.

In an online space full of viral advice and misleading claims, accurate information is essential👍.

Today, O**M submitted its response to the RCOG draft patient information leaflet on Early Miscarriage🗣️.

The clinical guidance is strong and evidence based. However, we believe it needs to go further to fully reflect what people actually experience after early miscarriage. In this series, we have walked through 3 of our key recommendations. You can read all 9 in full on our website📱.

O**M remains committed to improving reproductive healthcare for everyone. Small changes in patient information available can meaningfully reduce long-term distress, and create more compassionate care.
If this matters to you, you can also share your views. RCOG is currently inviting feedback on this draft, and patient voices are essential in shaping miscarriage care in the UK🤝.

You can find the consultation and how to respond via the RCOG website (and via the link in our stories). The deadline is tonight at midnight🌕.

In January there can be a lot of pressure to feel like you need to change everything at once.

However, at O**M, we believe real health is built through small, sustainable habits. That is why we have created the O**M Habits Builder, a free downloadable tool to help you build simple routines that support fertility and long-term health. Listen to our lovely partner and fertility coach, Alice Rose explain why this is important!

Why start small:
⏰Egg and s***m health are shaped by daily behaviours across roughly 90 days
📈Small actions around sleep, nutrition, stress and nutrient intake quietly compound
💪Habits that feel achievable are proven to be more effective than big resets

You do not need to start in January. You do not need to do everything. Just choose what feels right for you.

Start small with O**M🌱

Fertility and health education are areas where misinformation is rife and spreads easily. While the consequences of this are very real.

That is why O**M is PIF TICK accredited. This means our fertility information meets the Patient Information Forum’s gold standard for trustworthy, evidence-based health content. Every claim is checked, and sources are properly verified⭐️.

Research consistently shows that people trying to conceive are frequently exposed to misleading or oversimplified fertility advice online, often shared without scientific context or research. In a space filled with viral claims and strong opinions, knowing what to trust really matters🙇‍♀️.

Introducing our new Fertility Fact Check series. Created to clearly unpack common myths and explain what the science really says, from PIF TICK accredited sources✅.

O**M is committed to getting rid of marketing hype, and instead is here to help you make informed decisions that are right for you.🩵

The UK Government has published a call for feedback on bereavement leave following pregnancy loss in the UK, with the responses informing and shaping policy.

This is why O**M partnered with Seetal Savla, to co-create our response to questions relating to eligibility, when and how leave can be taken, as well as notice and evidence requirements. Beyond this, we also believe that bereavement leave should be paid, in order to increase accessibility.

Swipe to learn more, or head over to our latest blog post, which details Seetal’s own journey and therefore how we decided on our stance.

Visit the link in our stories or on our site to leave your own feedback, and join us in helping to shape bereavement leave in the UK🩵.

This year the UK will spend billions across Black Friday weekend.

But at O**M, we like to do things a little differently. For every purchase made during this period, we are donating an Early Detection Pregnancy Test.

This allows us to give back in a meaningful way and to support women who need it most. The donated tests will go directly to Women’s Shelters and charities across the UK, providing access to reliable testing to those in need.

There is power not only in what you choose to buy, but in who you choose to support.

Make it count. Buy Women Built. For women everywhere.

With love,
The O**M Team xx

Male fertility is too often sidelined, yet it contributes to around half of all infertility cases. This International Men’s Day, it is time to reframe the conversation, education and support available for male fertility.

S***m are sensitive to stress, inflammation and nutrient deficiencies, which means small choices can have a real impact on their quality.

This week, nutritionist Jennifer Walpole takes us into her clinic to share 5 common nutrition mistakes she sees men make. Her insights show how simple changes in diet, environment and daily habits can create a stronger foundation for s***m development.

Fertility is never just one person’s responsibility. Understanding what supports s***m health gives men clearer, more confident steps to take to improve their fertility, but also their general health and longevity!
