Disease Control Priorities 3 - Country Translation Welcome to the global page of the Disease Control Priorities 3 (DCP3) Country Translation initiative.

The DCP3 Country Translation initiative aims to strengthen the capacity of low and middle-income countries in setting health priorities and accelerating progress towards Universal Health Coverage. It uses the DCP3 evidence and model UHC packages to translate them into national Essential Packages of Health Services.

On 28-29 March, 2022, the Ministry of Health, Republic of Liberia and Disease Control Priorities 3 - Country Translation organized a workshop to assess the existing health services in Liberia against the DCP3 recommended essential Universal Health Coverage package. The workshop is part of the Ministry’s collaboration with DCP3 in revising the Essential Package of Health Services in line with population health needs and available financial resources. The outcome of this exercise will inform the prioritization process for choosing and optimizing the EPHS interventions.
