“Don’t count the days. Make the days count.” — Muhammad Ali

In rehab, progress is not always visible, but it is always shaped by what you do in the days between sessions.

Every time you move within tolerance instead of fear,
every moment you load the body with intention instead of avoiding pain, every choice to stay consistent rather than wait to feel ready, it counts.

Rehab is not just about time passing. It is about teaching your body to trust movement again.

Slow progress is still progress. Make today one that moves you forward, even 1%.

IYKYK. Sofia is the kind of osteopath who gets straight to the root of the problem and doesn’t waste time. Highly skilled, deeply knowledgeable and properly hands-on… and somehow still makes you feel completely at ease the whole way through.

We all have a story we tell ourselves about why now isn’t the right time, why we are not ready or why it might not work.

That story is often the biggest barrier to progress.

Change the story and the body follows.

…because they take things to heart! 🤪😂🤣

5 unusual facts about veins:

1. Veins have one-way valves: To prevent blood from flowing backward, veins have tiny one-way valves that help push blood back to the heart, especially from the lower body against gravity.

2. Veins hold most of your blood: Around 60-70% of your blood is stored in your veins at any given time, making them key reservoirs in your circulatory system.

3. Veins can change color: Although veins look blue through your skin, the blood inside is actually dark red. The blue appearance is due to how your skin and tissues reflect light.

4. Varicose veins are due to valve failure: When the one-way valves in veins become weak or damaged, blood can pool and cause veins to enlarge and twist, leading to varicose veins.

5. Veins can shrink: When you’re cold or dehydrated, your veins constrict (a process called vasoconstriction), reducing blood flow to your extremities to conserve heat or fluid.

In a world that often pushes us to extremes, balance is the key to thriving. Whether it’s between work and rest, ambition and contentment, or giving and receiving, balance helps us stay grounded. It’s not about perfection—it’s about finding harmony in the ebb and flow of life. When we embrace balance, we create space for growth, joy, and resilience. So, pause, breathe, and remember: life isn’t a race, it’s a dance. Find your rhythm.

Learn, Relearn, Unlearn

In a world that’s always changing, staying relevant means constantly learning new skills, embracing fresh ideas, and adapting to new perspectives. But just as important is the process of unlearning — letting go of outdated beliefs, unhelpful habits, and old ways of thinking that no longer serve us.

What will you learn, relearn, and unlearn today? 🌱✨
