When we are stressed, we are incoherent. Stress, anxiety, overwhelm etc. are all signs that we are out of balance, and are not operating from our highest and most competent self.
When we slow the mind down (through deep breathing, changes to focus and physiology etc.), we can think, respond and choose more rationally from a place of calm.
Allow your heart's voice to shine, and thus see the good in others and yourself. Choose compassion, kindness, love and care rather than limiting egoic survival-based emotions.
