We build meaningful and lasting treatment plans for you to rehabilitate from injury, pain or stress. Established in 1996, our clinic has grown to include more than twenty practitioners who collectively offer a whole spectrum of individual treatments and classes. Our strong emphasis on family health is reflected in our specialist practitioners’ skills and we can confidently and uniquely offer a service that looks after everyone, from conception through to labour and beyond. Holistic Health is owned and run by Podiatrist and mother of two, Tracy Byrne. Specialising in Biomechanics and Podo-Paediatrics (the study of infant feet and their development), Tracy is a keen barefoot walker, and promotes this practice within her own life.

Autumn is fully settled in, and we’re loving the colours, the crisp walks, and that frosty shift in the air 🍁

But colder weather often brings old injuries back to the surface - and with the combination of cold weather and achiness, you might be tempted to hibernate.

Should you slow down? Yes and no...

Gentle movement is usually one of the best tools for recovery and for preventing new injuries. Our bodies are built to move and motion is lotion!

Get into the ‘yin’ 🌃✨

We’re deep into the yin part of the year – slower, darker, colder. With life always at full speed, do we really need to glorify being busy?

Last week, Tracy & Kat headed to Stockholm for a transformative forest yoga retreat. Cold plunges, unplugged days, and deep connection in the disconnect reminded me how nourishing it is to just be. Yoga twice daily (plus a bonus CrossFit!) anchored the practice.

Leaning into these restorative rhythms lets us move with the season: slow down, reflect, rest, and nurture ourselves. When we align with nature, life feels lighter, easier, and more joyful.

⏰ Clocks go forward tonight! The shift might seem small, but the days after a time change can feel off-kilter. It’s the perfect moment to set yourself up with small habits that make a big difference over the months ahead.

Looking after yourself doesn’t have to be dramatic. A morning walk in the park can help you soak up much-needed Vitamin D at this time of year. Or try working from a café for a couple of hours - a simple way to fight the urge to hibernate (and save on heating costs at home!). There are plenty of ways to keep your energy up as the seasons shift.
