As part of our 2025 Impact Report, we’re proud to share Matthew’s story - an example of person-led support unlocking new possibilities.

With encouragement from his mum and the Knoll House team, Matthew applied for a part-time role at Mencap’s Community Hub - a milestone in his journey toward independence and confidence.

He gained new skills, grew in self-belief, and is already preparing for his next opportunity.

Dan took a lovely trip into Worthing town centre with Mihai to visit the car show at Steyne Gardens. The event was filled with beautifully restored vintage cars, each with its own unique charm and history — something Dan absolutely loves! 🚘✨

Recently, Natalie enjoyed a lively day out at the Broadwater Gardens Festival with support from Katia. The gardens were full of life — with music, dancing, and lots to explore. Natalie couldn’t resist joining in and spent most of the day grooving to the beat. 🎵

Her highlight of the day was the dog show, where she watched the pups perform and even shared a few cuddles! 🐶💛 The day ended perfectly with a delicious lunch out and smiles all around — a truly wonderful experience for Natalie.

Last week, we brought together our incredible influencers, family members, home managers, support office colleagues, and executive team for a powerful day centred on person-led care.

The most powerful moments came from those who live in our homes. We were honoured to hear directly from our influencers - Rachel, Rachael, and Tina - who shared what truly makes a Liaise house feel like a home. Their voices reminded us that person-led care is about celebrating individuality, fostering independence, and creating spaces where every person feels truly seen, heard, and able to thrive.

We also heard from Martin, a parent whose story of his son’s journey - from early challenges to building a life filled with connection, confidence, and joy at one of our London homes - was a moving testament to the impact of truly person-led care. His words reminded us that trust, compassion, and tailored support change lives.

Throughout the day, we explored:

How we listen and act on lived experience
What inclusive, values-led care looks like
How we ensure every moment has potential
Our future direction - shaped by the people we support

As we look ahead, we’re more committed than ever to shaping our future around the people we support - their experiences, their voices, their lives.

As shared in our 2025 Impact Report, this year we’ve expanded our support with several new supported living developments - each one designed to reflect our values of person-led care, inclusion, and community connection.

One of these is Riverside Haven in Spalding - a beautifully refurbished supported living service offering six self-contained apartments, each with space for a sensory room. Just a short walk from local shops, museums, and a vibrant arts centre, Riverside Haven is more than a home - it’s a place where people can thrive.

Across all our new developments, we’ve focused on:

Creating safe, accessible, and empowering environments
Supporting greater independence and personal aspirations
Embedding co-production into every step of the design and transition process

These homes are not just buildings - they’re part of our commitment to delivering inclusive, community-based care that puts people first.
