The has new guidance on extrication where in the past the removable seats were used with the FIA extrication kits, there's now new guidance on the best way for Racing Drivers to be rescued from a car.

A Disney World staff member is being called a hero after trying to stop a prop boulder from hitting audiences. The dramatic video of the moment has now gone viral, the incident took place at the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular show at Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios in Florida where the footage shows the gigantic fake boulder, essentially a massive, bouncy ball, swerving off its path and hurtling towards the audience. The heroic staff member immediately threw himself in front of the boulder, getting visibly injured in the process.

A Disney World Hollywood Studios employee was run over by a prop boulder during a showing of the “Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!” stage show.

It's the festive season, but terrorism doesn't take a Christmas break!

It's important to remember that even during the holidays, the security risk is sometimes higher as people's guards will be dropped plus there's additional strains placed on the public sector during Christmas. The threat to the UK (England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland) from terrorism is still 'substantial' meaning sadly, an attack is likely.

The Civil Aviation Authority has released several important new rules and regulations that will apply to and model aircraft operations from 1 January 2026.

1. Class marks and new product standards will be introduced and make it easier to know what your UAS can do and where it can fly. Operators using class marked aircraft will have more freedom under simpler rules.
2. If you fly a drone or model aircraft at night, your aircraft must have a green flashing light fitted and turned on for operations at night.
3. Anyone flying a drone or model aircraft weighing over 100g or more will need to pass the test to get a Flyer ID.
4. All UK class marked drones (UK1, UK2, UK3, UK5 and UK6) will need to broadcast their Operator’s Remote ID and information when flying. From 1 January 2028, this will become a requirement for legacy drones (non-UK class marked), model aircraft and privately built drones.

The CAA will take on the role of the UK’s new UAS Market Surveillance Authority (MSA) and will be responsible for checking that all UAS available in the UK meet safety standards and will be able to take action where they don’t.
