The Francis Crick Institute

The Francis Crick Institute We are a biomedical discovery institute breaking down barriers between disciplines.

Inside the Crick, some of the most talented and ambitious scientists in the world working to stretch the very limits of what we know about how life works. Their research holds the key to answering fundamental questions about human health and disease. Our bold and innovative research projects bring together scientists and technical specialists from all disciplines in the pursuit of discovery without boundaries. With the support of our partners, we’re able to bridge the gap between discovery and application to help change lives for the better. Through our dynamic structure, we’re able to quickly develop the science leaders of tomorrow. And by opening our doors to the public and taking our science out into the world, we make lasting connections for maximum impact. Welcome to the Crick – where discoveries change lives and ideas find room to grow.
