- Countries must move beyond reliance on global funding and take ownership of national programmes. Smaller programmes only cause delayed decision making, which costs lives.

- Strong data on disease burden is essential. Pair it with compelling storytelling and clear financial evidence to build a convincing investment case.

- Vocal champions play a critical role. Individual action can influence stakeholders and drive real change in the financing landscape.

Overall, one size does not fit all, country context matters, but we need to move faster to save lives.
