UCL MedSoc Research and Academic Medicine The Research and Academic Medicine Society aims to encourage medical students to participate in, and improve access to academic research.

Our objectives are to:

Raise student awareness of clinical and academic research and its importance for evidence-based medicine

Inspire and inform both pre-clinical and clinical students with the concept of academia in medicine by hosting seminars and workshops

Provide opportunities and monetary assistance to carry out research

Assist clinical students with CV enhancement in preparation for work or for the AFP programme and a career in academic medicine

Promote presentation of research at conferences and sharing results, expected or unexpected, with other medical colleagues
