With funeral homes in Forest Hill, Belvedere and Bromley, our caring team provides personal, professional funeral care when you need it most. Through our work as Community Champions we hope to challenge and change out of date negative perceptions of funeral directors by working closely with the communities in which we work. We are more than just a funeral director and have been a family business for over 330 years. We are dedicated to making a difficult time that little bit easier and carry our philosophy that every life is unique in every aspect of our lives. We intend to make a valuable contribution to our local communities and to continue to break down the taboo’s surrounding the work of a funeral director.

Blue and red. South London and proud. A Crystal Palace scarf draped across the coffin.

For someone whose passion was written in club colours, this funeral honoured that completely.

The Order of Service carried the Palace border. The eulogy spoke about what those colours meant to him. During the service, there was a flag wave.

Not what's "normally done."
What felt right for them.

Keri didn't plan to be a funeral director.

Six years ago, she wanted to be a funeral arranger.
Now she's a funeral director in Brixton and Clapham who can't imagine being anywhere else.

She aimed for one thing.
Ended up somewhere she was needed more.

She treats every family like her own. Not because the handbook says to. Because that's who she is.

The Google reviews say it better than we could:
Kind. Compassionate. Family first.

After work, she'll be out socialising or home with a book.
But as much as she loves company, she needs the quiet too.

"Sometimes you need that quiet time to reflect."

Keri Dillon.
Funeral Director, Brixton and Clapham.

The right person in the right place.
Even when she didn't plan it that way.

The People Beside You: Meet Kerri

Senior Funeral Director — Constable & Toop, Belvedere and Forest Hill

Born and raised in South East London, Kerri has been part of CPJ Field for over 12 years. In that time she has worked her way up to Senior Funeral Director, a role she carries with calm, clarity and quiet confidence.

She’s known for her sharp sense of humour and her no-nonsense approach. A steady presence when things get complicated. A problem solver. And never far from a to-do list — which she loves to tick off.

Kerri insists there’s nothing unique about the way she leads a funeral.
But she takes care over the little touches — the details that help everything feel just right.

Outside of work, Kerri is happiest walking her bulldog, Moses.
Ideally by the sea.
And preferably when he behaves.

As World Alzheimer’s Month draws to a close, we invite you to visit your local CPJ Field funeral home to collect a complimentary pack of Forget-Me-Not seeds. Plant these seeds as a lasting tribute to someone dear.

Nothing is ever truly lost, so long as we remember it.

Please share, so our community has the chance to collect their own 🌱💜

We are saddened to share the news that our dear friend and esteemed colleague, Andy Holter, died on Saturday 15th June.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Andy's family and friends, many of whom live and work in our local community.

Andy's work both within our CPJ Field family business and in the varied and great many voluntary and community organisations he was involved in and selflessly gave of his time to support, means that he touched the lives of many, who like us will be saddened by his death.
