Although Lipoedema typically affects the lower limbs, nearly 80% of women with Lipoedema also present with fat on their upper limbs. Abnormal fatty tissue builds up, typically from the elbow to the armpit, making the arms disproportionately large and often painful, tender, and prone to bruising.
