Total body workout class tonight 6 pm Β£7 Forward S-Teps in pellew arcade teignmouth
Everybody welcome. No need to be an expert or have exercised much at all. Everyone who comes is lovely and friendly, and we are all different ages. We do a mixture of weights and resistance bands targeting all areas of the body, especially abs and glutes it’s a drop in session, so you don’t have to sign your life away. A small but perfectly formed group had to work extra hard last night at Pride Fitness as TrainWithlucy ramped it up a notch ! πŸ₯΅πŸ˜¬πŸ’ͺ

Still stuck at 16 pull-ups . I think the only way to overcome this, is to add weight to them and do less. Think altitude training if you will. I’m really annoyed though.
Due to personality defects, I find it extremely easy to get obsessed with things. Why pull ups though? Why?

if you want to get better at pullups, just keep training your back. Do lots of single arm exercises, and work to failure. In my experience, we do not push ourselves hard enough during our training. And I don’t mean that in a toxic Gym way, I mean it in a stopping before you really need to. Let me give you an example.
So I write a program and it says four sets of 12 on a lat pull down. When you go to do the exercise, you could easily do 13 or 14 reps but you don’t because I’ve written down 12.
You are sort of selling yourself short a bit there, when you have a plan, simply use the reps as a guide, not the be all and end all of things
