Wealth creation in the AI era is shifting towards outcome-based pricing. With the decline of traditional SaaS, even Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has pointed out how CRUD-based tools are becoming obsolete. IT departments are now asking how AI will replace their existing SaaS solutions—but the reality is, there’s no direct swap.

Accelerated compute use cases are rising to the top as the 2024 AI hype hopefully starts to wane. The way that existing applications will integrate AI will form part of the “AI application later” that will consume the GPUs that form all the data centers that have been built and will be built.
Below is a good summary of how the gaming industry will fundamentally change. Gaming themes may not change but how they are built, and deployed and how the feedback from users is incorporated into the game will be different. Gaming is currently heavily dependent on GPUs for the obvious need for graphics processing. Still, the AI component may be delivered using CPUs and is more reliant on the edge to reduce the latency in feedback. A reminder, AMD has larger memory processers that may prove to be an optimal solution for edge applications such as these
