🎶 Yoga & Sound Bath 11 June Balham Yoga Classes:
Hannah is an approachable, lighthearted and down to earth person. Who is passionate about the positive impact a regular yoga practice can have on your body and mind. Expect a different, intelligently designed, sequence in each class. Delivered with precise anatomical alignment cues, so you can develop a strong, safe, yoga practice. Hannah believes yoga should be accessible for everyone, so her local Balham classes, have a friendly community feel and are open to all levels. Different options are given throughout each class, for beginner, intermediate and advanced yogis. Hatha Vinyasa Flow:
Hannah teaches a playful form of Hatha Vinyasa Flow. This style merges two popular forms of modern yoga and doesn’t take itself too seriously! Vinyasa, a dynamic yoga practice with an emphasis on harmonising the movements of the body and breath. Find stillness in movement as you build up a sweat, flowing from one posture to the next. Hatha, the yoga of force, normally involves holding static poses for several breaths. Allowing time for you to build strength and refine your alignment. Yoga Teacher Training:
200hr | Tobie Tomkinson & Yamuna Devi. Ashiyana Yoga School, Goa, India
100hr | Michael James Wong. Sunday School Yoga, London, UK
30hr | Celest Pereira.

The clocks have changed, and suddenly it’s dark by 5pm 🌙 As the light fades and our energy dips, it’s the perfect time to turn inwards.
Yin yoga is the medicine for this season — slow, still, and deeply nourishing.
We melt into long-held poses, letting gravity do the work while the mind softens and the body unwinds.
Hands-on support, grounding touch, and soothing massage are offered throughout to help you to truly rest.
Join me on YouTube for an open-level class that blends the stillness of Hatha with the dynamic energy of Vinyasa — giving you the best of both worlds without taking yoga (or yourself!) too seriously.
We’ll focus on strengthening and opening the shoulders in preparation for Headstand, building up step by step with plenty of options so everyone can join in — whether you’re just curious about inversions or looking to refine your balance.
Expect a fun mix of drills and poses to support your journey:
🔥 Plank drills for strength
🦅 Garudasana (Eagle Pose) for shoulder opening
🐮 Gomukhasana (Cow Face Pose) for mobility
By the end you’ll feel stronger, more open, and ready to explore Headstand in a safe and playful way.

Building a consistent fitness routine can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. Start small—just 5 minutes a day—and notice how even a short burst of movement can shift your energy and mindset. The best way to build a habit is to start with something achievable, over time, those five minutes can grow into something more.

Join me on YouTube for a deep stretch yoga class. This meditative practice is profoundly relaxing and nourishing for the body and mind. We will slow right down and sink into a series of long hold, mostly floor based poses. You will always have the choice to activate your muscles in the pose to build strength as well as flexibly. Or you can surrender to gravity and sink deeper into your connective tissue and fascia, unravelling hidden areas of tension. Perfect for easing into the day or winding down at night.
This yoga class is focused on improving mobility in the shoulders, suitable for any level.
Got questions or reflections? Pop them in the comments — I love hearing from you!
