📢 SUPPORT GROUP MEETING THIS EVENING 📢

Don't forget, volunteer Sarah McAllister is hosting an online support group on Zoom this evening, Monday 10 November 2025, from 7.30 pm – 9.00 pm for anyone affected by Behçet’s and living in England.

Meeting topic: Ge***al Ulcers
Like Sarah’s previous group meeting on mouth ulcers, ge***al ulcers are also among the most common symptoms experienced by patients with Behçet’s. Therefore, Sarah thought this would be an ideal topic to focus on at the support group meeting.

Note: We do not offer medical advice – this topic is to signpost you to information available online and discuss what works for others to encourage conversations with your own medical team about symptoms and treatment. Any discussions are anecdotal and must be treated as such.

If you are interested in joining or wish to know more, please get in touch with Sarah via info@behcetsuk.org

📢 There's still time to take part in the 2025 Behçet's Quality of Life Survey!

The survey will now close on Thursday 20 November 2025.

Working in association, the Behçet’s Patients Centres and Behçet’s UK launched the 2025 Quality of Life Survey for patients and members diagnosed with Behçet’s. This will be familiar to the longer-term Behçet’s UK members and patients of the Behçet’s Centres of Excellence, as it is very similar to the questionnaire from 2020.

The 2025 Behçet’s Quality of Life Survey is an online survey; not only will that keep costs of producing the survey to a minimum, it will also allow for the results to be analysed and made available much quicker.

To access the survey, please follow the link below.

Thank you 🙌

📢 SUPPORT GROUP MEETING AT LUNCHTIME TODAY! 📢

Don't forget, there will be a support group meeting for those affected by Behçet's and living in England at lunchtime today.

In response to feedback that evening support group meetings don’t work for everyone, our volunteer group leader, Sarah, has scheduled the first England Behçet’s Lunchtime Support Group Zoom on Wednesday, 22 October 2025, 12:00 – 13:30.

We hope this time works for many group members and may also allow some who work during the day to join part of the session during their lunch break.

Evening support group Zoom meetings will continue for those who prefer them. The next evening session will be Monday 10 November 2025, 19:30 – 21:00. More details to follow soon.

Meeting topic: General Support
This session will be a general support group meeting, where everyone can chat and ask questions. Sarah will guide the discussion based on your input.

About Behçet’s UK (formerly Behçet’s Syndrome Society)

Behçet’s UK (formerly Behçet’s Syndrome Society) was formed in 1983 by Judith Buckle (1950-1997).

Behçet’s UK represents all Behçet’s patients in the UK including those yet to be diagnosed. Reducing time to diagnosis is our top priority, reliant upon raising comprehensive awareness of Behçet's amongst all clinicians within NHS primary, secondary and tertiary care.

We strive to secure the best care for all Behçet's patients and assist carers, parents and relatives. We promote research into the cause, effects, treatment and management of this rare, complex and debilitating disease.

Having helped to establish 3 Behçet’s Centres of Excellence in England, we now lobby for proper comprehensive care in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
