Identity for Lowicks - the invite-only marketplace that’s built on mutual connections.

Made for house listings, ticket sales, job opportunities, holiday homes… you name it.
But first and foremost, it’s a community that’s made for mutuals.

It was important to build an identity that would evoke a sense of trust and authenticity for a platform that serves its community of over 25k vetted members. A warm and familiar brand tone of voice is paired with playful illustrations that reflect the breadth of categories available through the marketplace.

As a literal face of the brand, Louie the concierge is a character who acts as the front of house for Lowicks. Present throughout the customer journey to offer a helping hand and uphold the community house rules, he’ll make you feel at home whether you’re a new member or an old friend.

Identity for Lowicks - the invite-only marketplace. Had heaps of fun working on this one 🌴

Snapshot of the visual identity for Embolc.

A Danish organisation with a holistic approach to trauma healing - on a mission to be the light that shines in the darkness for those struggling with mental health.

Bold typography and a positive brand tone of voice, convey the message of hope that spring will come again. Hands become a relatable motif for connection, togetherness and nurture whilst visually representing our human interaction with nature.

Lower case ‘e’ to soften the acronym and make the brand more approachable, reflecting the growth and support it offered to their clients.

Linocut style illustrations lend themselves to the brandmark, accentuating this very human element of the identity.

Merch as part of the visual identity for Embolc.

A Danish organisation with a holistic approach to trauma healing - with a mission to be the light that shines in the darkness for those struggling with mental health. Embolc look to treat the body, psyche, mind and soul as a unified whole rather than separate entities.

The word ‘embolc’ means ‘in the belly’, and refers to the fertile interior of Mother Earth where small spring shoots are sprouting. It is also one of the four Celtic fire festivals - one that celebrates the return of light after a long winter.

This visual identity acknowledges the integral role of both dark and light in our human existence - as you cannot have one without the other. This intrinsic sense of balance and cycles can be seen throughout the natural world; day and night, seasons, the circle of life.

Glut - a supper club based in London 🕯

The identity plays with the idea of abundance - using what is in season, readily available and (where possible) local or even foraged ingredients to create dishes.

When looking for the perfect lettering, nothing felt more abundant and extra than gothic characters. They were given some custom embellishments to make the logo feel even more playful.
