We want to remind you, that whatever emotion you are feeling, honour it with love and compassion. It is in the moments we want to retreat and withdrawn that we have the opportunity to grow. Next time you want you retreat, stay with feeling. Embody your emotions, don't judge, acknowledge what arises and then choose to let it go. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Even though it can sometimes feel rougher & tougher than we’d like, the storms we go through in life create the resilient, empowered, beautiful soul that we are today. 💪🏻💥💛⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The abusive relationships (and path out!) taught me how to unconditionally love myself, gave me limitless compassion for others, and how to set healthy boundaries. They’ve been some of the most valuable lessons I’ve learnt. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The situations where I was a megalomaniac, controlling perfectionist, ultimately taught me the joy in releasing and flowing. I still have fleeting moments where I want to act like a dictator and mwahahaha in response to anyone who questions me, but they’re few and far between and I usually don’t act on them. Even if it looks like everyone is having the time of their lives except you, facts show you’re not alone.

NHS Digital reports “young women are the highest risk group in England for mental health problems, with nearly 1 in 4 young women having a mental illness”, while the World Health Organisation finds “depression is not only the most common women's mental health problem but may be more persistent in women than men.” Multiple reports globally also reveal the impact of Covid on women and female entrepreneurs has been exponentially higher than our male counterparts.

If we have been told that our ideas or actions are wrong more often than not, we learn to shut down our internal guidance and rely instead, on what we been told and shown by others, is 'acceptable' and deserving of approval or praise. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Learning how to find and trust our intuition, takes time, practice and courage. The happy news is, when we begin to listen to our intuition without second guessing ourselves, the choices and outcomes tend to support and align with our values and what fulfils us. We also learn that if something feels off or misaligned, chances are, it is not right for us. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
One of the many ways to strengthen our intuition is through reflective practices that enable us to create space to connect to our own inner guidance and intuition. Yoga, meditation, breathwork, tai chi or chi gong are all examples of such practices. Sitting or moving quietly, in stillness and complete presence, enables us to connect mind, body and spirit and the deep wisdom that resides inside every one of us. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

If we want to grow and flourish, we need to feed ourselves with things that support this. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Nurturing ourselves can be reducing or eliminating our sugar, wheat and dairy intake, drinking enough water everyday (0.033L/kg of body weight), ensuring we get enough sleep (min 7 hours/night for adults), and surrounding ourselves with people and activities that uplift and energize us. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
