Great to hear from our members in Fife to hear of activities during OT week!

Last week, as part of OT Week 2024, the NHS Fife Learning Disability Occupational Therapy Team hosted an activity day at Lynebank Hospital. This event provided a great opportunity for local community organisations, whom provide activity and support, to network with clients and other professionals in order to direct people to appropriate vocational, educational and leisure services. The event was very well attended with over 100 individuals coming through the door including service users, families, social care staff and health professionals. Feedback received was very positive, with many service users leaving the event with new activity option ideas which supports positive health and well-being.

Feedback from attendee:
"It was good to be able to talk to staff and discuss the potential to increase local leisure opportunities and I left feeling more hopeful about things."
