What I teach now is shaped as much by years of quiet self-practice as it is by all the studies and trainings I took.
We tend to think as students of yoga and as teachers that we need more knowledge, more tips, more tricks.
While that’s helpful and technique is important, it only carries you so far.
Eventually you have to take a leap of faith and start trusting in yourself, your own embodied wisdom, your own awareness; and share from that space.
We talk about authenticity a lot these days, but it’s hard to be authentic when there’s so much noise, so much conflicting opinion, so much antagonism.
Quietly coming back to self-practice is a deep refuge, a source of great stability and peace.
