March 1 is Self-Harm Awareness Day.

For many people who self-harm, it can be a way of coping with overwhelming feelings, distress, or pain that feels impossible to put into words.

If this is part of your story, you are not broken. You are not alone. And support is available.

If you are supporting someone who is self-harming, your patience, presence and compassion matter more than having the “right” words.

Please reach out to someone you trust or use one of the support lines above. You deserve care, understanding, and to feel heard.

Sometimes we forget to thank ourselves for the small, daily things we do that actually change our lives.
The therapy session you finally booked. The 5 morning minutes with your journal.

But here’s what’s really special about writing to your future self.

It helps you:
📍See that change is possible (even when it feels hard right now)
📍Be kinder to yourself along the way
📍Notice and celebrate the small steps that matter
It’s telling yourself: “I believe in you. Keep going.”

What would you thank your future self for today?

If the Bridgerton characters came to therapy...
Season 3 gave us a hell of a lot, it showed us what happens when people are trapped by their own beliefs, desperate for approval, or terrified of being truly seen.
We broke down what Penelope, Colin, Eloise, Cressida, and Francesca might work on in therapy, and which approaches would help them most.

Swipe through and tell us: Which character’s struggles do you relate to most? 👇

And yes, we’re so ready for Season 4!!
If you’re navigating your own version of self-doubt, identity crisis, or relationship struggles, we’re here to help.

Therapy doesn’t have to be a reaction or something we reach for in crisis mode.

Therapy can be a space where we learn more about ourselves, through the highs and lows.

Checking in with a therapist when you’re feeling good is equally as important as when you’re not feeling so good. It can help us identify triggers or develop healthy coping mechanisms that can stay with us forever.

Listen to what you need, even if you’re not sure what that is yet, our Pleso therapists are always here for you.

Feeling exhausted, unmotivated, or heavy? You’re not imagining it.

Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a very real thing and while not everyone experiences SAD many of us still will feel more tired and less motivated.

Winter is supposed to be a time for slowing down (animals quite literally hibernate for the whole thing!). But the modern world doesn’t allow this and so we have to push on, even when our body is telling us no.
But there are ways to help with this: light therapy, vitamin D, root vegetables, and giving yourself permission to rest.

George explains all in this video. If you have SAD, working through it with a therapist can really help. And we’re here if you need us.
