I thought Iβd better do a re-introduction of Tom and his flavour friends, Iβm not sure Iβve ever explained the who & why for Tom, even though I always get asked it!

The strapline βTime Out for Me, Time Out for Teaβ came before the brand name - it was the emotive purpose that was there firstly. The acronym T.O.M jumped out at me and there it was. Tom is also a very friendly British name and was the name of my Dad who sadly passed away just before I launched Tomβs Teas but got to meet Tom and see my packaging before he did, I literally came of the motorway to where he was as soon as I had them. It was a bitter sweet moment and the name Tom will forever be in my β€οΈ

Tom is neurodivergent, his beautiful mind sees things others donβt and although he is the boss of Tomβs Teas he relies on his flavour friends, who have their own unique personalities, to bring the teas to your small people so their beautiful minds can take some time out from an often loud and busy world.

This part of the story comes from a personal place as both my children were diagnosed in their teens and I strongly suspect they inherited this from me - youβre welcome girlsπ€ͺπ€£

Tom reminds us (and our children) that taking βtime outβ isnβt just a nice feeling, itβs necessary. A pause to connect, reset, recharge and be yourself.
