iConcipio's latest and most important study was published in a peer reviewed journal. Simply put, the study shows that the system works.

After using MePlusMe students' anxiety and depression was significantly reduced after just a couple of weeks and their overall wellbeing was increased!

If there is any programmer out there who wants to join the team and help us develop the app, get in touch!

Findings support both the acceptability and the effectiveness of MePlusMe. Nonetheless, modest retention rates limit the precision and generalisability of these findings. Further investigation should ascertain optimal duration of engagement, most acceptable means of outcome assessment, and further d...

Dear team..thank you πŸ™πŸΌ

My journey with iConcipio Ltd started in 2011. πŸš€

Throughout these years I developed MePlusMe, an online support system to help students at university πŸ‘¨πŸ½β€πŸ€β€πŸ‘¨πŸΎπŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸ€β€πŸ‘©πŸΌ learn how to take care of their wellbeing ❀️ and improve their study skills πŸ“–

My team and I πŸ‘¨πŸ»β€πŸ’»πŸ‘©πŸΌβ€πŸ’» have been involved in cutting-edge research πŸ” and collaborated with a number of universities in Europe to date. πŸ›οΈ

Carrying out research is hard 🀯 and time-consuming work.πŸ“† So it always feels good knowing that your work is being noticed. πŸ‘€

With this post I want to celebrate a success πŸŽ‰ and remind my team πŸ‘¨πŸ»β€πŸ’»πŸ‘©πŸΌβ€πŸ’» that they simply rock! πŸ₯Š

One of our papers πŸ“‘ describing MePlusMe and explaining why it is an innovation πŸ’‘ has attracted a considerable audience in the scientific community so far πŸ‘οΈπŸ‘οΈ. We are due to publish our latest research project which was a large feasibility study. πŸ“œ

My only hope πŸ™πŸ» for the future is to raise the necessary funds πŸ’° to fully develop the system πŸ’» and integrate it to universities worldwide 🌎 so that students can access this digital help from anywhere they are for free. πŸ™ŒπŸ»

** Mental health and study skills support for students during coronavirus **

Over the last few years, we’ve been working on a project developing video techniques to improve students' resilience and experience at university.

In view of the current global situation, we release these videos for free so students can access them and get the support they need during what will likely be a tough few months. Pupils at school can also benefit from the videos.

Please find more information in this link and help us spread the word.

Thank you.

MePlusme videos released for free to support students mental health, wellbeing and study skills during the coronavirous pandemic.

In a newspaper today an article by Eleanor Harding talks about practising mindfulness at school. The pressures of the modern world affect everyone and our system, MePlusMe aims to equip students at university with the necessary skills to take care of their mental health during their studies and beyond.

8 years and counting of hard work to build MePlusMe, an online support system for students at university. Here is a summary of our story.

I designed MePlusMe so that students can use it at any time they want and get tailored advice about the specific needs they have at that time. The advice is in the form of psychological and educational techniques presented as a package of animated videos.

Proud to present our just published paper that explains how our online support system, MePlusMe can help students to take care of their mental health and stay on top of their studies.

Dealing with psychological and study skill difficulties can present a challenge for both Higher Education (HE) students, who suffer from them, but also for HE Institutions and their support services. Alternative means of support, such as online interventions, have been identified as cost-effective a...

About iConcipio

Back in 2010, Dr Patapia Tzotzoli, a clinical psychologist specialising in adult mental health came up with the idea of designing a system that can help students throughout their time at university and beyond. She came up with this idea after observing for years during her own studies, so many students struggling, failing or even dropping out of university. Dr Tzotzoli strongly believes that psychological knowledge should be widely available to everyone and this is why she decided to develop this system. Mental health in academia is a topic of massive importance and interest to her both for professional but also for the personal reasons and this is why she dedicated and will continue to dedicate years of work to support this cause.

In 2011, iConcipio won the King's College London Business Plan Competition and in 2016, Dr Tzotzoli was shortlisted from over 2400 other applicants worldwide for the Falling Walls Young Innovator of the Year competition in Berlin.

iConcipio is an organically grown, early stage company without revenue who at the moment partners with universities in order to carry out research studies aiming to provide the evidence-based development of MePlusMe. In order to advance iConcipio actively seeks help in the form of a) talented individuals to join our team (You don’t even have to be like-minded as long as you are talented!), and b) money, to fund the talented individuals and the development of the system.
