This for my team menstrual cup girlies. Who does not know what a menstrual cup is. Drop a comment in the chat. This video above and caption below is from How to remove your period cup
1. Wash your hands. RELAX. Squat or sit on the toilet
2. Find the Stem & Base: Use your thumb and index finger to find the stem, then “walk” your fingers up it to the base.

DO NOT PULL ON THE STEM

3. Pinch the base of the cup firmly or use your finger to push in on the side of the cup to release the suction
4. Gently wiggle the cup from side to side while pulling down to keep it upright and avoid spills.

Once out, empty the contents into the toilet, wash with water, and reinsert or wash for storage Thank you for sharing from your wealth of knowledge.

I am emotional writing this.
The most important thing you will do today is stop and read this.
And then send it to one woman who needs it more than you do.
She knows who she is. And so do you. 🧡

I know your mum warned you not to go out but safety first, apologies later. We have seen too many situations of men getting away with assault crime...
And we have also seen too many cases where there was no evidence. No witness. No justice.
That should end.
If you are in a room and you feel unsafe. If someone is trying to hurt you. If you are scared of being r***d or assaulted.
Do not freeze.
Open Instagram. Open Facebook. Go live right now.
Say hello to your friends. Tell them where you are. Show them the room. Show them the door. Whatever you can capture becomes evidence.
Smile if you have to. Your friends will understand. They will screen record. They will call for help. They will be your witness from miles away.
Whatever can be evidenced can be criminalised.
I wish someone told me this in my teens.
So I am telling every teenage girl right now. You are not powerless. Your phone is not just for TikTok and selfies. It is your loudest weapon in your quietest moment of danger.
Nigerian men can be very daring. We know this. But do not sit and let it happen to you. Try something. Go live. Make noise. Create evidence.
A picture can be deleted.
A live cannot.

Because it will. 🧡

If i have a penny for when people say they are fine instead of carrying out test enh. HIV test kits are available in pharmacies.
And in many places… testing is completely free.

No excuses.
No guessing.
No “I think I’m fine.”

Just clarity.

In a time where awareness is getting quieter,
your responsibility should not.

Know your status.
Protect yourself.
Protect others.

Post this.
Share it.
Remind someone.

Watch till the end…. 😭😭😭😭😭😭 Because many r**e victims in Nigeria were treated worse than this it feels good to see this. Sorry not sorry. Victims/survivors are are not just dealing with trauma…
they are also forced to answer questions that shift blame onto them.

“What were you wearing?”
“Why were you there?”
“Why didn’t you say no?”

Questions that sound familiar.
Questions that silence people.

This is not about humour.
It is about recognising how normalised harmful questioning has become.
Credit BBC ‘Tracey Ullman - Mugged’ this clip is almost 10 years ago but still so relevant.

This is the 3rd time this week I’ve heard of a middle aged man collapsing in the bathroom.

It’s often called “sudden.”
But most times, the body has been giving signs.

High blood pressure.
Heart problems.
Blood sugar issues.
Warning signs… ignored.

Middle-aged men — this is your reminder:
Check your health. Don’t wait for symptoms to become emergencies.

Save this.
Share it with a man who thinks he is “fine.”

For some reason this cracked me up so badly. On another episode of our . Now let me explain why.

Why is there so much plastic for just ONE morning-after pill?

Most people don’t realise this…

Emergency contraception (morning-after pill) is designed to be:
• Highly protected from moisture
• Stable under different conditions
• Effective within a limited time window

That packaging you see?
It’s not random.

It helps preserve the effectiveness of the medication so it works when you actually need it.

Because this is not a pill you take casually.
It is time-sensitive.
It is situation-dependent.
And it needs to work.

But here’s the bigger conversation:

Emergency contraception is not meant to replace regular contraception.
It is a backup; not a plan.

Understanding your options matters:
• Regular contraception
• Emergency contraception
• Your cycle and timing

Because informed choices protect you more than panic decisions.

Save this so you’re not misinformed.
Share this with someone who needs clarity, not confusion.

If you’re creating health content… we see you 👀

The research.
The effort.
The courage to speak up and educate people.

It matters more than you think.
