PATHFINDER STUDY CLUB NEW SEASON ANNOUNCED Delighted to announce our new dates for the next season of the Pathfinder Study Club. We meet in central Scotland from Sept-June - every session is different and focuses on small group learning and comprehensive dentistry. We have a mix of live speakers, treatment planning team sessions, clinical problem solving, hands-on, debates and much more with support from the Seattle Study Club. Above all it’s a safe learning environment for young and old (like me😂). Many of our members return year after year. Places are limited so please message me if you would like some more information and a copy of the full program! The picture gives a flavour of what we do… comprehensive dentistry is our core belief and the club is very suitable for dentists who want to develop their scope in terms of private dentistry. Just listened to an excellent webinar about the link between acid erosion and GERD - fascinating and so much that we can do as dentists to early diagnose and screen for these diseases. I was particularly interested in the use of Peptest which I see we can get in the UK - pepsin should not be present in saliva and is an indication of reflux. Andrea’s book is an excellent resource with Risk Assessments and step by step protocols for treatment. Available from Edra Publishing US.
